"This will fit on an E&L AK104, but it is really tight and will take modification to get it to sit in the right spot. I’m using this with the LCT ZB-30 and ZB-31 rail. The part that’s tight are the arms that extend to the rail. I had to file down the inside of the arms to sit right on the block. Still had to hammer it down into place.

Something to also note, the vertical part on the rear of this dust cover is not as tall as the original on my E&L, so the rail does not sit flat when it is completely closed (it tilts down toward the front of the gun slightly. It’s not obnoxious, but if you looked at it from the side you’d probably notice. It shouldn’t make enough difference to interfere with optics though. I still like it and have rated it as such but I still think it’s too expensive for something so simple.

"Got it for E&L AKS-74N

I've got this along with the Avengers SPORT 4. Installing it is very simple and with the E&L and the SPORT 4, it installs flawlessly. The dust cover closes with no problem and also gives the gun a bit more battery space. The biggest problem with this though is that the set came with the screws but did not come with the washers so the screws will stick out even after tightening down the screws. However, even if you somehow had the spacers, the screws are a bit too long. The screws will touch the outer barrel and trunnion as you screw it down.

Pros:
Solid lock up with no wobble on the E&L with SPORT 4

Cons:
screws are too long and did not come with washers

That being said if you are comfortable with a dremel, you can modify it to fit well enough.
The rail itself is incredibly sturdy and articulates well
4/5 due to needing to modify it to fit undoubtedly the most popular AK manufacturer.
