S&T Reproduction ZF39 Scope & Side Mount Set for Mauser Kar 98k Bolt Action Spring Rifles

"Purchased this scope and mount to add to my S&T Kar 98k that's drilled and tapped for this mount. The scope and mount came with little in the way of instructions to aid in installation, but once mounted it has a solid fit. Scope provides a clear view, and it seems to line up very well with the rifles iron sights after getting it mounted. Have not had an opportunity to fire this rig yet so looking forward to doing that. It's my understanding that this setup is referred to as a "long side rail" sniper rifle. As an aside, this arrangement is different from the one used on the Ares 98k sniper rifle, using a different scope mount. I've had the non-scoped Ares 98k with laminated wood (returned it due to very poor fit of buttplate to stock, among several other issues, and will do a review) and prefer the S&T 98k sniper rifle.

"Its a very good item,the quality its pretty decent and the sight picture its super acurate to the real one. The only problem is the top screws that are a little soft on the material, they can get the head damaged quickly. I suggest changing at least 2 of them to allen key,more precise the ones that are outside.
