"Despite all the negativity surrounding this mosfet I decided to see for myself if they're as bad as people make them out to be, so here it is I guess.

A quick run down of this mosfet is that it's a mosfet used in CYMA Plats, that does nothing but protect your trigger contacts by replacing them with a board and microswitch and gives you access to 11.1 lipos with deans essentially.

No fancy optical sensors, no programming (so no burst, no precocking, no binary, etc.), no apps, nothing but what I said above. (And I guess a silly beep that plays when you plug in your battery)

With that out of the way, here's my experience with it after ~2k rounds, fielded at Tech Star Airsoft and HGA once:
(*- = new topic, - - = Continuation of above)
(13:1, 22 tpa, 11.1 (25C)) (MP5, still a V2)

POSITIVES:

*- Had absolutely no issues just dropping this into my cyma gearbox, possessing that raised metal bit (where the original trigger trolley sits) (As expected)

- - Though I have not tested this with a gearbox that has that area flattened, so I can't get a definite answer on if it fits without modification on essentially all gearboxes but CYMA (Though they do state it fits in most so uhh surely they aren't lying)

*- Did not burn out on an 11.1 so far, as well as the microswitch hasn't broken yet.
- - I've used only 11.1s on this mosfet in my gun running a basic 13:1 22tpa trigger response setup, and it just worked.
- - The microswitch I was spamming on semi really fast, though I was doing so lightly, as in not slamming my offhand index finger into the trigger like I'm playing a geometry dash demon (Evike stated that the microswitch failing was fixed in general, but it did feel pretty fragile on the one I got so who knows)

*- If something goes wrong in the gearbox (such as gears locking up in my case due to the piston rack launching into the piston (Don't ask how lol)) the mosfet will stop, play an error sound, and flash a light corresponding to said error.
- - Can save guns from failures that would otherwise deal more damage than they would without this mosfet

*- Wiring seems pretty good, silver or whatever and has a plastic lining.

*- Comes with a pretty good rubber patch with the word ZEUS and CYMA on it (Because obviously this is as high end of an upgrade you can get in this part of the gearbox.)

*- All in all, it just works, I don't know what else to put here

NEGATIVES:

*- This price for this is absurd... Like $45 for just a regular old mosfet that isn't that well regarded by most of the airsoft teching community? Count me in!!!!!
- - Like actually this is probably the biggest negative of this mosfet, like if it was 20 dollars sure fair, but when Double eagle sells a Falcon mosfet for like $29 iirc that has binary, burst, and sensitivity, then there's gotta be something wrong here.
- - Because of this sole reason, there's literally no other way you can convince me to say to get this over something like a Perun V2 Hybrid for $30 more, other than saying you want a bare bones mosfet in a cyma, and you have nothing to file down metal with.

*- The feeling of how it may or may not just die on you. Quite a bit of people have stated this mosfet burnt out on them from 11.1s alone or just the microswitch breaking, or whatever reason they have to tell people about the Perun V2 (not against that one though lol)
- - While so far it seems all good, I just have to live with that thought in the back of my head of that at any point this mosfet could just ... fail. (Personally would not want to be more confident in my old trigger contacts than the "upgrade" I bought)

*- It keeps the cut-off lever… and uses an optical sensor for it … why?? The way I see it, this mosfet could've at the very least incorporated a second optical sensor for the trigger to avoid all those microswitch problems everyone talks about.
- - Note: the cutoff lever optical sensor only tracks the position of it for fire modes

*- (For my CYMA MP5 only, I think) The trigger reinstallation is horrible when closing the gearbox. It wants to jump out as much as the Anti reversal without a magnet. This is of course made easier with gearbox clips (the best invention ever made, fight me) or a quick change gearbox.
- -My old trigger trolley securely held the trigger in, and I'm just putting this here because this single thing tortured me for like 2 days, lol

*- Absolutely no documentation from CYMA on how this thing works other than how to install it and test it. Yep, all I got was an installation and test paper in the box, nothing about what the error sounds and lights mean, nor for any possible programming.

*- Horrible packaging, Box came to me like it got jumped (probably ups), The mosfet was just thrown into the box with some foam under and on the sides of it, Velcro path on top. (Still when installed so eh)
- - (Comparing this to how the Perun and other mosfets come in an anti-static bag)

(Hopefully didn't forget anything in both of those categories)

CONCLUSION:

Overall, getting this mosfet for the intention of an electrical upgrade to improve whatever build you have currently is absolutely not worth it. Mainly due to the price alone (Assuming the problems that everyone talks about have actually been fixed) As you're better off just saving a bit more for a Perun V2/AAB++- for those bells and whistles, or just something like a standard old mosfet that you solder in (or the ace tech one that ones pretty good, either way both are half the price of this.) In addition to the price, once again, you have to remember that this comes with absolutely nothing such as precocking, active breaking, burst, etc. Which you can find on mosfets at this price.

Final Say: The Perun V2 hybrid is in fact a real product. And I guess dremels and files for the other CYMA users out there

Notes for anyone who actually went and got this mosfet (Surely at like 50% discount, right)

*- Keep your cut-off lever and selector plate copper plate if it has one

*- Motor wires are backwards (like black wire is in front, red is in the back) (Motor still spins correctly though, just put the correct wires on the correct terminal)
- - Out of motor grip, red wire is in front, black is back. When in motor grip you want to have the red motor wire cross over because it's long, I guess (could've just been me)

*- Don't use too much grease as it can cover the cut-off lever sensor, resulting in full auto only

*- For the Mp5 your motor wires may be longer, so either shorten them or turn them into silly sticky hands you throw at walls (bend them inwards to fit)

*- Be gentle with the trigger, as in, just don't go slamming it like hulk and you should be fine

*- Consider upgrading to a better mosfet later down the line

And with all of that, there's my absolutely unnecessary in depth review of the CYMA Zeus mosfet, hopefully this ends up helping anyone later down the road. The 3 stars are of course because of Price, and lack of programming in correlation to said price.

CYMA you're better than this man
