"Recieved my preorder. Stitching looks good. Pouches will hold two USGI AR15 mags. Velcro backing makes it easier to add danglers and other accessories. Would love to see either a modernized type 81 or 63 if they keep the double stack capability.

"Its what you expect out of a chicom rig minus the molle. Which in my opinion is a welcome addition to modernize an old design and was done well. The choice of a canteen pouch is a little strange as I find canteens on the side like that cumbersome but its a good enough pouch to go on one of my belts. Build is pretty good although the wood beads are very roughly cut though accurate as real chicoms are cheaply made. Main flaw of the design is if you wanna tighten the slack in the pouch flaps you sacrifice surface area for the velcro on the pouches to stick on. The star if the show imo? The smoke/flash/radio pouches they come with. PLEASE PLEASE SELL THE POUCHES BY THEMSELVES!! I cant find them and they are perfectly adjustable to accommodate thunder bs, radios and brey tac grenades otf. I might buy another one JUST for this pouch and give the rig to my friend so I can have 2 adjustable grenade/smoke pouches

"I wrote a review previously and was not correct so this is a edited one. IMO, this is mid tier in terms of quality and perfect budget friendly rig. It comes with the side pouches and will accept a dangler which is nice. The one thing I noticed is the magazine pouch covers. I was mistaken before and didn't fully inspect the rig before. The mag covers ARE velcro backed so you can remove or adjust them. However I feel that the elastic bands and the wood toggles should have been sewn in lower than they are. The toggles sit up high and the flaps don't cover the front that well. I feel they should have made the flaps squared off instead of rounded but I guess they were trying to mimic the original. You can remove them which is nice, or just remove the pouches and get another type if they bother you that much. Also the wood toggles are very soft and cheap feeling. One of the toggles has a chip taken out of it. Overall I'd say it's decent.
