"I needed a holster for a 9mm maxim 9, and took a chance here. It paid off. Although clearly marketed for airsoft (and marked "airsoft only" on the side), it fits the actual Maxim 9 perfectly. It has a really nice detent once inserted. It's both easy to draw, and has good enough retention the pistol won't fall out even if shaken upside-down.

I thought based on the design that the pistol would sit too low, but it doesn't. It's almost exactly where you expect the grip to be with any other holster. Since the Maxim is such a huge weapon, the muzzle goes past mid-thigh, but the grip is in the right spot and that's all I care about.

The slots for your belt are huge, this thing would work with a full size duty belt no problem. For regular belts, it comes with these plastic spacers to fill up the remaining free space. It's a little hokey, but works fine.

Overall, A+. The price is great too.
