Rocket Airsoft CNC Complete Hopup Chamber for G36 Series Airsoft AEG Rifles

"I normally don't do reviews much, but with this one not having any, I thought I'd help people out. G36 parts aren't as common as others, and this is one of the very few chambers available right now.

PROS:
I'll start by saying, it works. It also comes with a nub, which isn't pictured. It's a 1 piece nub, unlike the 2 piece which came with my JG G36. So, if you plan on changing to a nub like the Omega, you'd need the top piece of the nub from your old hop up.

Seems durable. I replaced a plastic one that cracked due to a drop, and obviously a CNC one isn't going to do that.

Wheel is smooth, with clicks when it turns. Feels nice.

Barrel fitment seems good. With the stock bucking, slides in quite easily. With the Maple Leaf Macaron I got, (which ended up being defective) it's a very tight fit, but still seats nicely. The G&G Green I have yet to install feels thicker than the stock bucking, so I think it'll be similar to the Macaron but ultimately be no problem.

CONS:
I believe it's slightly out of spec. I bought a new regular nozzle for my gearbox, of the standard G36 length, and it was too short to form a proper seal. I'm not sure what the right length is, as I replaced it with an adjustable one. I'd guess about 25mm but it might be a little longer.

It was rubbing on the screw flange on the gearbox, so I filed a chamfer into the top of the chamber. I think this was pushing it out of alignment.

The bucking it comes with is ok, but it's ultra soft, and cheap. I'm getting consistency and double feed issues, due to what I believe is weak feed lips. I'll be installing a G&G green, which has much stronger feed lips, after the Maple Leaf Macaron I bought was even worse than this cheap stock bucking in terms of feeding issues.

Overall, if you're ready to do a little adjustment, this should be a reliable replacement for a broken stock plastic unit. I wouldn't bother with it if you're not getting any issues from the stock unit. And definitely think about an upgraded bucking, because the one this comes with really is hardly worth being included.
