"Just buy it already, LCT AKs are awesome. They can fit real steal parts meaning you can make them look however you want. I've gotten magpul handguards on with a little dremel/filing work. Asura dynamics parts fit too. The only thing internally I did was put a ASG 30k motor in it and tightbore barrel. It works wonders and goes through hell.

"Impressing.
I've heard as LCT as the go-to brand for AKs, and I can't agree more. This was a great choice for a starter gun (obv more of a project gun, but still.)
Drawbacks - weak-ish motor, will need to go soon.
Like with a lot of AKs, very high OOTB FPS, requires a spring change for outdoor field use.
Magwell doesn't have a spacer, harder to load mags than, say, a CYMA.

Some things you should buy basically immediately are a magwell spacer, a new spring, and a new motor.

Other than that? The gun is solid. Super heavy, but I need to work on that with myself, not the gun.
Almost entirely metal except the parts that aren't on the real rifle.
Incredibly robust rifle.
Looks incredible, used 1.5k grit sandpaper and it shines.
Perfect for impressionists. Will soon be installing some Zenitco onto it.
Overall, super happy with this gun. Lots to work on internally, but nothing could be better externally.
I couldn't ask for more.

If you want a gun for impressions, this will be for you. LCT lives up to it's reputation of making nice guns. And I couldn't agree more.

"Great construction with decent weight. It can fling BBs pretty well and doesn't miss a beat.

However, this rifle has a horribly loud spring rattle when firing, especially on semi-auto. Not sure if this recent batch was equipped with older springs due to the pandemic, but it is pretty annoying. I cracked open the Gearbox and inspected the spring, which was intact and without any visible issues.
I'll be exchanging the spring for a nonlinear one. I still recommend this rifle, but I'd wait until after the pandemic to nab one.

"Looks good, shoots decent, its what you can expect of LCT, but has some issues.

Note: rifle was stolen from me alongside my other wooden LCK74.

Issues:
Selector is stupid stiff and hard to get unstiff. Once you have it manageable, it works fine.

Magwell is the worst I have ever seen and is easily the weakest point of the gun, as it has no flat bit inside like a CYMA and as a result, its really easy to over-insert mags. I'm not joking, there is literally nothing in the magwell but the hop up alone. We broke a mag with the other LCK74. LCT recognizes this and sells an insert, but as I said with my review on the LCK74, I am not paying for a 24 dollar piece of sheet metal when it really should be included in the design. My advice is to 3d print one, the files are available, or to make one (its a mostly square shape.)

Upper handgaurd can freely rotate in its bracket, closing the infamous "gap" between the upper and lower handgaurds on one side, and dramatically opening it on the other. They easily could have put a small metal bit to stop it from rotating. It looks kinda silly on the reputation of LCT who is known for exellent replicas.

Dust cover was rather uncooperative in getting on. For whatever reason the CYMA dust covers go on a lot easier than either of my LCT AKs did and I cant figure out why because its a nicer build with better designed faux recoil spring assembly. Once it was on, it was very secure however.

Hop up on this particular gun was bad. From what I recall, it could barely lift .25 g BBs. My friend who owns an LCK104 said that his bucking had no nub on it, and that it was just shoving bucking wall into the bore and barely touching BBs. I was unable to confirm this on mine before it was stolen, but it really had to be cranked to maximum to get .25g BBs to fly straight. I would tolerate this on an AR, but an AK with this pricepoint, cmon. replacing AK hop ups are so annoying.

All in all, if you want a good AK-74M replica, this is your best bet. It looks good so long as you keep the handgaurd from spinning, and it performs as you would expect, good accuracy save for the hop up
