"Good gun overall, full metal build and very comfortable to hold. Polymer stock to carry battery.
The selector switch is a little weird though.
Very good gun overall!

"Just got the gun a few days ago. I enjoy it, the build quality is pretty good. I saw some people complaining about parts being loose but I think that was just bad luck. I did a few small battles in my backyard with a few friends and so far it works great. The only real issue I have so far is that sometimes it jams on semi if you spam the trigger in between shots, however switching to auto then firing, and switching back resolves this issue. Regarding full auto, the fire rate in said mode is a little slow. Depending on how you look at it, this could be a con or a pro, since you can use it in full auto on fields and people will think you are trigger spamming. The last thing I would like to mention is that it has an old fuse, however, a plastic case protects it and it has not been much trouble so far. I would give this a 9/10

"Great gun shoot accurate and far
by John Y. on 03/18/2021
"I bought this rifle because my dad was issued one when he was in the Marines in 1990-1991 during the Gulf war, and when i showed him still rifle, he said this is what he exactly had when he was in the marines, but he also said the rifles we're in only semi and burst. Besides all of that, this would be the most reliable and historically accurate(besides it not being burst) rifle yet! Would recommend to anyone doing a Gulf war/Desert Storm kit.

"It's the most beautiful thing I've held. It is a tad heavy but that shouldn't matter unless you have noodle arms.
Shooting is accurate not much else I can say about that. I'm able to hit my targets from quite a distance away and overall great gun. happy I got it.

"Bought this gun on sale 20% off. This thing looks so good. Everything is aluminum construction besides steel pins and screws, and the hand grip and stock are polymer. There is a small amount of wobble with the handguard, this applies to all of their 1m16s, my friend bought the same exact gun and had same amount of wobble. Hopup is okay, would recommend upgrading. It has a functioning bolt catch to adjust hopup without holding charging handle. Removing orange tip was a hassle, I drilled around locking pin and pulled the pin out and the orange tip is glued on real good, I had to apply some muscle grease to this thing with a pair of pump pliers to get it off. Internals are just stock cyma parts of their sport lineup, I'd you're interested to see them theres a video on YouTube just look up cyma sport gearbox and you should be able to find it. Inside the gearbox you'll obviously see the classic cyma blue grease. No quick change spring btw, white plastic safety latch, selector plate, trigger housing, piston, piston head, and cylinder head. Air seal is nothing special, barely a seal at all, but if you push the piston in fast then you'll get somewhat of a seal. Brass cylinder non-ported, piston has one metal tooth on the release side. Metal gears 18:1 standard cyma gears nothing special. Clear plastic tappet plate, which is different than a standard tappet plate, the neck of it has been slimmed out from the extra reinforcement, I think this is similar to one of G&G's series of gearboxes I saw a video on it so but cannot remember the exact thing. Clear plastic air nozzle no o ring. Spring guide is a v3 spring guide that they fit in their v2 gearbox with a metal washer on the end, no bearings, the gearbox has radiuses which is awesome to see. Motor is standard, nothing special but with decent speed/rof. I did notice the selector switch sometimes goes a little stiff after awhile so I put a drop of silicone on it and that loosens it up good. For bushings it's those low friction type that have a cross in the middle, they sit higher than most gearboxes keep that in mind. For upgrades I put in a madbul hop unit with a maple leaf hop rubber and a madbul 509mm 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel. SHS 18:1 CNC gears short stroked 1 tooth, ZCI 28tpa high torque motor, GATE nanoHARD MOSFET, angel custom full steel teeth rack, vfc compression parts, retro arms 21.4mm CNC air nozzle, m140 spring. I also put on a pts motor grip which feels nice and fits fell. One thing I did notice is before I used the stock cylinder with vfc compression and because the air seal was so great, it caused feeding issues, the air seal was too tight so it struggled to push the piston forward, I found this out because I could hear the piston slowly compress inside the gun. I then swapped out the cylinder and boom, problem fixed. I tried to fit a 12v 4600mah battery (BEEFIEST BATTERY EVER) in the stock of this but the long screw that goes through the stock prevents it from fitting. The battery capacity is massive in this though, if you can find a battery on this website other than the one I just mentioned, then it should fit. Great gun overall, definitely upgrade this if you have the time and money. Great job CYMA

"So bought this rifle last weekend, and I've shot about 1000 BB's through it thus far, used it in a small skirmish (Covid-19 has shut down all games sadly), so this is more of a first impressions review. I'll try to update this review/add a new one when I've used it much more:

So the upper/lower receivers, outer barrel, RIS rail system are all metal. The exterior does feel a little cheaper than others, and a little thin. It still feels rugged, but I've noticed that that it seems like thinner metal than my Elite Force's. The Buttstock seems to also be made of a weaker, thinner plastic. So I probably wouldn't recommend bashing this bad boy on trees. The exterior is clean of markings, other than the stamped serial number serial number and the engraved markings on the even numbered slots on the rails. The rail system is not a free float, it is a two piece held on by the Delta ring at the rear, and a triangle retaining ring at the front, behind the triangle sight. It is the correct M16A4 RIS system, with the shorter rails on the side. Overall, I'd give it a 4/5 for exterior quality.

The stock performance is nothing to write home about. With a 7.4v, the ROF is a tad slow. When firing in semi-auto mode, it won't keep up if you have a fast trigger finger. I'd recommend running a 9.6v. It could certainly use a tighter bore barrel, but out of the box, it's not bad. It get's fairly decent range, and just using .23's, I've got it to shoot fairly straight.

Overall, it's a pretty decent AEG for $200, and it's been on sale for $148 a couple times before. It is a nice rifle, and it's actually became my favorite rifle in my arsenal. It would be great to upgrade, or it does fairly well out of the box.

Hope this helps someone!

"This gun is just simply fantastic. I've put about 8 high-caps through it and it's shooting great.

I bought this after owning an Echo1 Stag-arms M16 for about three years, and this thing just makes me smile every time I shoot it.

The function is like the Icing on the cake, this gun shoots maybe 390 fps, Give it maybe an m120 spring and you'll be shooting about 400-420 fps. Just make sure the motor is up to it, I haven't owned the gun for too long but maybe you would have to change the motor.

Overall a fantastic gun; I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for a high quality AR platform that has a longer barrel, with that fixed-stock.

Pros:

Excellent build quality
Above average FPS
Great feel
Looks Great

"This is my first AEG review, but I am EXTREMELY pleased overall with this gun. I have been a fan of G&G since I started playing airsoft This gun holds up my expectations very well.

Pros:
-Sturdy build with high quality CNC aluminum and nylon fiber.
-One of the most accurate guns I've ever fielded (partially because it comes STOCK with a 6.03 mm inner barrel).
-Dead reliable (first game I used it in, I put no less than 3000 rounds through it. I only had misfeeds a couple of times. This was found to be due to a poor magazine lip though).
-Some quirky features such as a spring release for after prolonged play, or the affixed receiver pins for takedown/cleaning.
-Fuse included
-Unlike some other reviews say, the hopup chamber WILL stay open if you pull the bolt cover back and hold it, then pull the external release outward. Simply press it again to close it.

Cons:
-Stock hopup is sub-par at best. (Easy fix with an aftermarket unit).
-Hard rubber pistol grip gave me fatigue after hours of play. (Easy fix with cling camo or electrical tape).
-Blowback creates a lot of noise.

"I have owned this gun for over 2 years. It is still shooting like the day I got it- fantastic. I have used many different mags in it- it can be picky with the full metal receiver, but I have found both hi-caps and mid-caps that work well. It is very accurate- you can use it for a sniper rifle with the benefit of full auto firing, and high capacity. You can us it for a squad support weapon with a box mag, or severl of the G&G 450 round hi-cap mags. Mine has consistently shot around 390-400 fps with .25 bb's. The externals are great, and durable. The internals are great and durable. The only thing I have changed is the pistol handgrip (put a magpul MOE one on as it was more comfortable in my hand). I own about 8 good airsoft guns, but when we are playing a serious game, a MILSIM event, or a game where I want to reach out and touch people that think they are far enough away- I reach for this G&G Top Tech M16. I have also mounted a 4X vietnam era type scope on it and sniped people that thought they were a safe distance away. I have measured off distance to see the length it will shoot accuratly (man size target- not a small ring), and it will reach 175-190 ft depending on wind interfering. (no exaggeration). Plus- I got this with a 20% off coupon so I paid about $240 then for the gun- a steal in today's market. I hope this review helps anyone who is thinking about this gun. It looks plain versus the hi-tec, railed, add on guns all over the websites- but there is no substitute for quality build and performance when you are on the field.

"Lets start off by saying this gun is great ! My rifle didnt come with any stock wobble what so ever, I would recomend this gun to a big guy considering that it is VERY long. I recently purchased a Weapon and customized it myself so i cant say to go buy it but its better than this gun(only because its custom) i added a eotech to this weapon and an RIS rail because i HATE not being able to put attachments on the rail.

Pros:
Accurate
Powerful
Great build
Great ROF

Cons: Very long, well its an M16 so i cant consider it a con if your Big.

"This is the 2nd airsoft gun I have owned. I mistakenly bought this one instead of the A1 version as I was looking for Vietnam era handguards. I have found out the hard way that you cannot retrofit unless you are a gunsmith. The replacement handguards were just a touch off.
I do not actually play airsoft as a sport. I only have done backyard plinking and due to my age and eyesight probably never will. This is a fun gun to shoot in the backyard!
At first I had no real performance issues with the gun for about the first 15-20k rounds using quality BBs. Then I had horrible feeding issues. I brought to a local tech (45 miles away) who explained the bucking was bad. I had hopup and bucking replaced and they did some minor adjustments. This gun is shooting extremely accurate now!
My only real issue is the trigger pull. It is horrible on semi-auto. Don’t try to press it fast too many times or it locks up and then it seems you need to put it on full auto to clear. It’s ok in backyard but I think if on field play I’d be just throwing the gun at my enemy as soon as it jammed...
Tons of room for batteries and an ounce of your local budtenters favorite, although the plastic does feel rather thin and flimsy. Scratch what I said earlier, don’t throw it at your enemy. It will break the stock....

Pros:
Its a freakin M16!!
Metal rails very well made
Very accurate with minor upgrades
Battery compartment holds ounce of bud AND battery

Cons:
Semi auto is problematic
Thin butt stock

Overall my favorite gun. I have a M1 carbine GBB and a couple other M4s now but this is my baby. I have a big oil scope and a red dot sight on the top, metal bipod, rubber bayonet , and a roach clip holder all installed and I now am pew-pewing in style! Lol
