"Love this gun. Good weight and feel.

Caution!! This gun will not fit the Matrix Hardshell Adjustable Holster for STI Hi-Capa 2011 Series Pistols because of the break on the front. The custom break is slightly too wide on a small section. If you shave down the break a bit the rest of the gun fits like a glove and locks in place.

"Really nice pistol with a solid feel in the hands. Turns a lot of heads in cqb, and I cant wait to use its longer range on an outdoor field. I run it with a 50rnd mag to start and a second 30rnd mag it came with; I'll probably pick up another 50rng mag for outdoor play. Gun shoots a little hot for first few shots, I chronographed initially at 375fps, but after a few shots it was down to 350. Removed the orange tip by dipping the end in boiling water and needle nose to rip it out( orange tip is plastic).

"LOVE THIS GUN!!

I got this gun in the year 2016 and absolutely love it. i have through the years fallen in love with AW Custom and have bought several other guns from them including the HX25 and the Competitor. however, this one is still by far my favorite.
Pros:
-super gas efficient. I use propane because its cheaper and I get more kick.
-very accurate. it has an extra 2 inches of barrel which you will find to surprisingly effective.
-outstanding finish. It just looks amazing. the two tone looks great and you can definitely tell someone put effort into designing it.
-It came already with spacers installed! it is super snappy right out of the box without me having to dismantle anything
Cons:
-small barrel wobble. it might just be me, but the front outer barrel wobbles which might lead to accuracy issues.
-very heavy. this isnt a Glock19. it has a serious weight to it. However this could also be a pro because you are able to be more steady with it.

Conclusion: definitely buy this, it is worth every penny and more. make sure you buy more mags with it.

- amazing range, rivals a teammates expensive m4
- well balanced with weight
- lovely crisp sound when cycling shots

- NEVER jams
would be good for pistol only games with this and a full auto pistol.
cons
- my front sight was chipped on the front end of the green rod, nothing serious, just kinda sad about it. to small to send back for tho, doesn't seem that important.
- no other cons

"Bought this on black Friday and I have to say, WOW. This thing is bad-ass. Comes with a default mag-well and also comes with a small amount of shims on the recoil spring for a bit of proprietary short-stroking. If you dont want to have to upgrade a pistol to make it nice, then use this puppy. But if you do like upgrading, Airsoft-ers beware. This thing has a pretty much proprietary Blow back unit. If you want to find a BBU that is aftermarket for this thing then, try to buy a TM or a UAC that might fit as a drop in. otherwise it might take heavy modification.

Other than the BBU though, I fit a new Hopup and barrel in the sucker just fine. Hell, I just bought a 165mm SMG Poseidon barrel and fit it. Works amazing. The extended barrel is awesome (166 mm) , and this thing is C02 Ready as well.

"Bought it and love it. I'm getting it tapped soon. The only issue for me is with my big dumb hands and the way I grip, I sometimes place my thumbs high on the gun which can activate the amby slide lock. I'm just going to hack part of that off. Amazing gun.

So I finally took delivery of my brand new AW Custom HX24 "Wind Velocity". Being in South Africa we need to do a special order for this type of pistol as they aren't available locally.

Wow, wow, wow, wow is all about I can say for seeing this pistol on the flesh. Pics don't do this pistol any justice, as it looks 150% more sexy in real life.

This Pistol and its design suited me like a Duck to water. Having Extra Large hands it really feels like it was Custom built for me. The frame is closer to a real 1911 than a tactical frame such as my previous KJ Worx KP06.......so its very nimble and easy to handle.

If you think this rifle is looks alone you are in for a HUGE surprise as this is the best pistol I have ever owned. It's dead accurate out the box and mine shoots a constant 349fp/s........ Gas usage is also extremely favorable with one only needing one refill after three mags of BB's

If you are in two mind if this pistol is worth the premium price please don't worry...........It's AMPLE rifle for your money and this thing will out-shoot 99% of other pistols on the range and most AEG's for that matter.

Next up I need to order AW Custom mags as my WE mags aren't quite on the same standard as the AW Custom ones
