"Best externals you can get on an AK, just rock solid. Internals are nothing special but good enough to start with.

"I've had it now for a couple weeks. It will shoot hot out of the box, probably over 420 fps with .2s, I recommend buying the evike spring downgrade ($25) to make it legal at most fields. Also, it is wired to the stock, not the dust cover. Has a quick-change spring v3 gearbox. You have to unscrew two screws every time to change/remove the battery. There was no flash hider included and my front sight was missing the front sight post post for some reason, but it being airsoft I don't really mind... However it's very well built, everything that should be metal is metal, and the polymer is very sturdy construction. Fire selector is nice and stiff and the hopup can hop .32s no problem. 28mm CCW threads under the glued-on orange tip. Performs like it should for the price tag.

"I love Aks they are just like no other. Now this compared to my E&L is almost just as good. High Quality Externals and mediocre internals. LCT just keeps making some of the best Externals. Would buy again

"Great rifle with high-end externals. I feel like I can punt this AK74 off of a building and have it still work.
Range is nice, and with the proper BBs and hop-up, you can pretty much hit anything.
Weight is perfect; not too heavy, not too light.
The provided magazine fits wonderfully and doesn't miss a beat. CYMA's magazines (which come in Echo1 packaging for... some reason?) also fit and work perfectly. They're also remarkably cheap.
Plenty of battery space.
Included flash hider to replace the unholy orange tip.

However, this rifle, along with many other LCT rifles, suffers from one major issue : A weak motor.
The wind up is long and the RPS leaves much to be desired. A simple motor switch will drastically increase the performance, though.
Another (minor) issue is the accessibility to the battery compartment. You have to unscrew two screws in order to access it, which can be a total pain in the rear if your battery runs dry mid game.

Just be aware of the weak motor whenever buying an LCT. I still highly recommend this rifle, but make sure to buy it with a new motor as well (they cost anywhere between $30-80).

"There isn't much that I can say about this AK74 that hasn't already been said, but let me first start out by saying that this replica is fantastic, especially in regards to build quality. I only ever played 1 game with it while it was stock, but it performed admirably. Even though I'd give this gun a 9.5 out of 10, there are a few nit-picky things that you may want to be aware of before you buy this masterpiece.

For one, while a friend of mine was using it, the cleaning rod fell out, so although everyone else is rock solid you may want to be mindful of that.

The spring loaded trapdoor for the buttplate's mock cleaning compartment is a pain to deal with when putting the battery in. (The description says the battery goes under the dust cover, it doesn't.)

The orange flash hider is atrocious, for the love of God remove it immediately. I'm assuming it's so terrible because they want to force you to change it.

The last minor issue I had was it shot about 440 out of the box, so a spring change was required to get the FPS within field limits

"Fantastic gun, virtually indistinguishable in weightvand appearance to a real akm\ak74.
Clocked in @397 fps with .25 initially, settled down to around 370. Accuracy @ 150 ft is around 10moa w/.30gram

"Pro = * Full metal receiver (realistic and sturdy)
* V3 Gearbox
* Feels like the real AK for I have a real AK 74 too
* With mid cap magazine, this gun doesn't skip a BB, shoots everytime
* Performes like a real AK, reliable and simple
* Hop up slider is easily accessible
* Stock magazine that comes with it has no wobble at all in the receiver (amazing)

Con = * A tad heavy for some people (depending on the person) but I'll get use to it
* The battery compartment at the rear stock is hard to access due to two screws needs to be taken off
(Be nice if they make the butt cover for the buttstock to be able to slide sideway for battery accessment)
Swivel design will be ideal
* The cleaning rod does rattle a little but doesn't bother me

Conclusion = It was my first arisoft gun and I happen to choose the AK version pattern because I run a real AK rifle so I figure it would be a great step to training in this platform :D This gun was worth every penny, feels so real, weight wise shooting it was very pleasant! If you want simplicity, realism and reliability, this is your gun.

"oh its beautiful. its heavy and hurts

"Just got the gun and I am by far impressed. Coming from 3 previous E&L's, the LCT is by far the winner in my book. It just looks and feels so much better in my hands than the E&L I just don't know how to explain it but it is. The only knock I have for the LCT is that there is no muzzle pin that locks the muzzle in place. I could've just gotten one that didn't have one, but by any means its still a great looking rifle and I am glad I spent the money for it.

"i ordered 2 of these rifles for my best friend and i, and was not dissapointed. They arrived in 5 days and were well packaged courtesy of evike.

PROS:
The rifles were completely identical. They are 100% steel or aloy in all the areas where metal would be. They have very tight tolerances and everything is stiff and gritty. No flex, no wobble, and minimal rattling except for the cleaning rod. They are reallt heavy and well-made. They come with orange tips, and have standard 14mm ccw threading, an adapter for 24mm threading, and a steel AK-74 style muzzle break. The rifles feels solid and quite realistic. It shoots very straight out of the box, and is built for a higher powered battery such as a 9.6 or lipo. The furniture, save for the pistol grip (more on that later) is a high quality polymer. It is a non-slipping texture, and the color is a true olive drab. To sum up, the guns are built like tanks, operate well, and are in all honesty, worth more than the price suggests.. Now the problems..

CONS:
The battery is not wired to the dust cover, but rather the stock. The stock is also very small for an aeg and has limited space, this compounds the issue. The selector switch is so stiff at first it is almost intolerable. It has to be broken in. disassembly is also incredibly challenging due to the realistic build and tight tolerances. The pistol grip, while being being comfortable, seems to be a slightly different plastic material that is not all that impressive. The cleaning rod is very loose and jiggles around, easy fix but still an issue. Also the gun will fit most mags but is rather finicky on how it reloads. The mag lip has to just narrowly catch the reciver to fit in and snap up properly. Other than the wiring, these are rather minor inconveniences.

I highly recommend this rifle for a more experienced player who is looking for a clean cut, slim AK platform that performs out of the box and is built like a bundle of bricks. Amateurs, or people who dislike heavy weapons, are better off with something else.

"Great gun, solid externals and plenty of battery storage.
The only thing wrong with it was the packaging. It came in a cardboard box with thin plastic molds to hold the gun in place. When I got it the plastic molds were completely cracked and broken, and the gun was basically loose in the box. There was a hole in the bottom of the box where the charging handle broke through. Also, the product features says that it comes with one stamped steel 600 round hi-cap magazine, but it actually comes with a mid-cap? Nice.
Everything else about this gun is solid - literally. Drop it off a 2-story building, yadda yadda.

LCT makes guns that are worth the price, but I'd like to see packaging that is more structurally sound. If I'm paying 300 dollars for an AEG, I'd expect it to have at least some sort of styrofoam to keep that gun safe during shipment from TAIWAN.
