"Great gun out of the box, it was my first airsoft pistol and have had no problems with it so far. The polymer slide still feels great, hop up works amazing and is easy to adjust. Great ergonomically and functionally, recommend to anyone.

"The gun is a very good starter hand gun it comes in a cardboard box. (not one like amazon) the box looks pretty nice. the only issues I've had with it, is some feeding problems. i cant tell if that is the mag, or not. the parts are really easy to take off and put back on. if you are wanting a handgun, and you have a low budget or just want a good starter gun, then this is the one for you.

"Let me start off with I’ve had this pistol since I was a wee novice. I love this sidearm. It can take a beating like no newbie can give it. I’ve ran it with .25gram bbs since I got it and it shoots like a dream once the hop up as been adjusted. I recommend this pistol to anyone and everyone who is looking for a pistol and it has yet to let down a soul with both its price and performance.

"Great gun overall, it can take a beating and has snappy recoil. It is really comfortable in the hands and I'm definitely gonna buy it again.

"As a starter at airsoft, this weapon is one of the best weapons to start off with if your just getting into the sport, it has a good weight, good sounds, and overall is heavily reliable (Although I did have to disassemble it a few times)

"I bought this gun locally and have had it for almost two and a half years and it still works great. It is good on gas and the build quality is great. It is a all polymer shell but feel high quality and mine is yet to break. The only issue I have is it does not lock back when empty anymore but that is very minor.

"This is my first ever GBB pistol, and I was not let down. The action works great, the magazine plus an extra both work great so far. My only issue with it is that on occasion, if I pull the slide back manually it may get stuck. Besides that, this is a great gun. I would highly recommend getting this.

"Other than the fact that the slide is plastic, there is nothing different between this and the metal slide version. Nothing. Another fact, the outer barrel is METAL. So are the excellent sights. The blow-back unit is also the same.

If you own the all black metal slide version already and were thinking of getting a two-tone metal slide version, stop right now! Get this and you end up with the means of assembling that two-tone version on your own (just put that black slide group on the tan frame and your good to go) and getting another green gas magazine as well (you can never have too many magazines). All this for $85.00. Its a no brainer.

The plastic slide is very well made and is probably the most robust plastic slide (super thick material and heavy with zero seams) that I have ever seen. There will be no issues with using green gas here. The only issue I have is that the slide lock cut in the slide is not metal re enforced (such as is done with Tokyo Marui) and there is the potential of the edges rounding and not allowing the slide to lock back after the magazine is empty, However, this will take awhile and there is an easy fix for this when it happens. Again, this is a $85.00 pistol. Slide movement in the frame is very smooth and there is very little side to side play.

This is a great pistol for Indoor CQB or at fields where C02 is a issue. FPS will be fine for all close in use. Double action trigger is pretty smooth and relatively light. The single action is very smooth as well (however there is no stop before the hammer falls) and trigger re set is very short. Sights and grip fell are terrific for this size of a pistol. Range and accuracy using green gas should be no different from the metal slide version using green gas and the slide action is definately quicker. All around, this is a really good pistol at a superb price.

My only question is..If ASG KJW can make such a good pistol out of polymer or plastic, capable of using green gas and with licensed trades and Evike can sell it for this price, why cant some other major manufacturer do the same?

I am giving it a 4.5 out of 5.

"The ASG CZ P-09 sportlines actually shoot better than the metal slide version, due to less weight and a better design slide. The better slide design allows the outer barrel to sit correctly and maintain a proper seal with the blowback assembly. While I would recommend the sportline version over the ASG P-09 with metal slides, ASG's customer service has declined significantly over the past year. They have gotten stingy on support their customer base after the 90 day warranty. They will not service your gbb after the 90 days, which other company's do such as KWA, G&G, VFC, and Umarex.

I honestly would have recommended the CZ P-09 sportline, but I think ASG's poor customer service, is the deal breaker. You might as well consider the OEM which is KJW, since ASG's customer service is not worth the extra price tag.

"Had this pistol for around 8 months before it was stolen by some paintballers, but in that time I used it often. So here's a review:
The P-09 is a great pistol for the price you pay. The polymer feels incredibly sturdy, the blowback is crisp, the sight picture is clean, it has good weight, the controls are smooth, trigger pull is light, and mag capacity is high. Some of the only issues I have with it are that the slide release is too far forward, the safety is easy to bump on, (got me killed in a firefight once), and for what you pay, the magazines don't feel super amazing. That being said the magazines are quite easy to load compared to other GBB pistols. Overall, amazing starter pistol for the money but be wary to take care of the magazines, as the o-rings wear out quite easily if you don't keep them stored with gas in them.

TL;DR:

Pros:
-Good weight
-Amazing build quality
-Good sights
-Crisp controls, good blowback and light trigger
-High magazine capacity
-Good accuracy
-Good range
-CQB Legal (300 FPS)

Cons:
-Expensive magazines (to be expected with a gas blowback)
-Magazines wear down somewhat easily
-Safety is a little loose
-Mag release is easy to bump when in a holster
-Bad gas mileage (I had to fill my mags for 30 seconds each, and even then I could only get one full mag off before re-filling)
-So good that paintballers will want to steal it from you

"Personally I love this pistol
It's nice and really cheap
BUT the mags break way to easy
And the parts to fix them are not available in many places
The mag lip and the but plate
You have to baby them
My first day using it one of my mags broke
I found a guy online selling the part for 5 bucks so I bought it
And then my frinds feeding lip and butt plate broke on his that same day
So I went back online to find it
The guy raised his prices
Now I wouldn't mind the parts being easily broken if I could find the part to replace it but no
I will have to buy a entire new mag for what should be a 5 doller fix
Now that being said the gun is nice
Shoots straight and is very cheap but the mags h as very killed it for me
