"Amazing gun for the price (got it on sale), this is my second ares amoeba (liked the first so much I bought this one) and everyone I let try it is impressed.
I wanted an MP5-SD look while keeping m4 mags for ease of compatibility, so I just threw on a cheap suppressor and voila.
The full metal purists will look down upon this, but this gun is lightweight, high quality polymer (had a lancer tactical that I returned due to poor 'feel' of the polymer, this is miles better from a budget polymer gun) and for my preferred running around is a blessing instead of lugging around something full metal. I get the appeal of full metal, I've had some, but I'm over it and prefer what these have to offer.
The gearbox is what sold me on this, quick change spring without needing to remove the gearbox from the body (just 1 screw to take the stock off, and 6mm screw to undo the threaded spring-guide, takes all of 5 minutes to change a spring), has built in mosfet, and with an 11.1v lipo great out of the box trigger response (micro-switch trigger, its like clicking computer mouse) and full auto that sings.
Only thing that is annoying is the way the upper half of the receiver is shaped because of the sliding stock, it's kind of a pain to separate due to the fake bolt catch, I accidently popped off the gearbox nozzle from the tappet plate since you have to angle the body down way early, and had to tear apart the gearbox to put it back on. I just removed the fake bolt catch and problem solved for me.
While watching people in the group I play with have issues with their AEG's, I'm yet to have a problem with either of my amoeba guns that I didn't cause. probably put ~10,000 rounds of mostly semi auto between the two I own with 11.1v LiPo's and yet to have an issue.

"Good distance pretty accurate love this gun. I had a the scope and a 2800 round dual drum this thing's a beast I've had no problems with it.

"This mini badger is amazing! When I got it I thought that the amp and online fps was exaggerated but it is not. At all! Mine shoots at 400 consistent, and the electronic trigger is amazing! Out of the box it has fanominal accuracy and rediculous range for how small the barrel is. I highly recommend this gun is you already want a small but insanely accurate machine.

Pros: stupid fast trigger response due to electronic trigger and mosfet
Super compact, most people don't realize how longer barrels result in lower accuracy, less maneuverability and more weight.
360 fps stock
Built in sound amplifier- way louder sound report, which I personally think makes it more difficult for enemies to judge distance to me as compared to the signature aeg motor sound.
Rotary hop up dial stock
High quality polymer body with unique rail system to mount attachments at 45 degree angles from vertical.
Comes with mid cap that feeds well. I would've junked the mag if it was a hicap.
Programmable burst, why not shoot 3 rounds instead of one.
Cons: rotary dual hop up arm has its own nub built in to the unit, so I replaced mine with prowin unit to flat hop
Small battery compartment, better to test fit in person as my 11.1 is the exact size of the compartment.
Fielded this once so far and was so amazed by the trigger response, compact size. I've been playing for 12 years and now want all my guns to have electronic triggers, mosfet. If you're just a beginner, buy this. Especially when it's on sale. If you're a veteran, buy this. New primary or an awesome loaner gun.
Flat hopped with prommy purple and maple leaf nub with elite force .32g bb. Outperformed most guns that people have spent way more money on.
Buy this... while it's still on sale at least.

"I've put this gun through a number of CQB games and it has worked like a champ. I was impressed by the accuracy and high rate of fire using an 11.1v LiPo. The electronic trigger is excellent, allowing 11.1v compatibility and short trigger pulls. Nice rotary hop up and a smooth sounding gear box (I haven't opened it up to look at the internals). The amplifier has a VERY audible pop and is probably the biggest factor in why I bought the gun. All these features combine into a platform which is a joy to shoot and is an excellent CQB option in its stock form. No regrets.
Cons:
Slight wobble in hand guard.
