Development of the vz. 61 korpion was initiated in the late 1950s, with the intent to provide various non-infantry units with a lightweight, personal defense weapon that brought more firepower than the standard pistol. First prototypes of the new weapon were built in 1959 and was officially adopted by the Czechoslovak Army in 1961. Although the vz. 61 korpion was created for the Czech Army, a few korpions found their way into the hands of various niche groups, which favored the weapon for its small size and the subsonic capabilities of the .32 ACP cartridge.
The KWA kz. 61 korpion Submachine Gun features a removable folding stock, ambidextrous charging knobs, and two select-fire modes. The short overall length of the kz. 61 korpion makes it ideal for close quarter engagements, or as a sidearm for individuals who want a larger volume of fire from their secondary.Length:

"I use the skorpion a primary cqb weapon. Out of the box it's an excellent choice. The sites are great for quick target acquisition. The folding stock detaches easily and I feel the gun handles more effectively without it. The fire selection is stiff but I rarely use single fire. The 20 rd magazine is reliable but empties quickly. I carry one 40 rd magazine for specific situations where spray fire is called for but it has finnicky charging. Keep it oiled and clean.
I holster it in a cradle rig that holds it in the small of my back. Don't scrimp on magazine pouches.
As a side note a respected rival has a brace type stock intended for the glock on his .
"I am in love with this weapon, it's quickly became my favorite side arm. I'm my opinion the weapon's strongest feature is it's speed. In CQC situations against players with AEGs, I find my scorpion consistently out shooting them. Not only in rate of fire, but in speed of operation. I've seen opponents at the same time they've seen me, both pulled the trigger at the same time, and the scorpion out preformed their AEG.
A lot of people are pointing out some pretty basic flaws, so let's look at those.
Stock: besides looking really cool it's almost a joke. Not saying you couldn't make use of it, but I found that removing it was the best option. Every holster I found that works requires you to remove the stock, likewise with forerails for grips and cameras. The weapon feels more maneuverable, and sturdy with out it. Besides that I've noticed that the stock rubs the paint off of the weapon at the point where it locks to the front sight, and could cause rust.
Magizanes: the mag that comes with the weapon is great, though small. You will run mags dry quickly, I recommend getting at least 2 extra. I've played with both the 20 round, and the 40 round. In my opinion I suggest investing in the 20 round mags. My 40 round never has enough gas to get through all 40, (running green gas) and over all I think the 20 looks and feels better. (One warning) I broke 1 mag by letting the spring slam home with no bbs loaded, cracked the plastic and now leaks. Be careful while loading, and don't let the spring slip without bbs to cushion the slam. I also recommend a drop bag, the mags feel fragile, and I'm not comfortable dropping them.
Hoslter: lot of people saying it's hard to find holsters. Brain Exploder has a paddle holster that seems to be the best option. The weapons stays where I need it, looks great, and feels great when running and drawing. You can't use the stock with the holster, but it works with both mags, and a forgrip.
"I purchased this gun a few months ago and I have to say it has definitely exceeded my expectations. The gun is extremely well built really solid no loose or cheap feeling parts and it has that realistic heft to it. The magazines for this gun are small and only hold about 22 bbs and with this guns 21 rounds a second you'll go through these mags like crazy. However they do make extended mags that hold around 40. The mags hold a good amount of gas enough for about 1 1/2 mags (I use propane so your results might be different) filling them though is quick and easy and I have never had them jam up on me. The sound this gun makes when shooting is fantastic nice and loud with a good kick due to the blow back action. The stock on it is ok I prefer using the gun in pistol mode because the stock isn't very comfortable when using it but it's good to have just in case you need it which will be very rare (it is a machine pistol after all). The gun itself is made mostly of metal except the upper part and hand grip which are a very dense polymer. If you don't like polymer you do have the option to buy a metal upper just keep in mind the gun is pretty hefty without it. All in all this is a very solid airsoft gun I highly recommend it if you like playing CQB games or even regular outdoor games too. Well worth the price you definitely get what you pay for.
