"I have the .177 steel BB version of this gun called the Phantom. So, when I saw this was an option, I bought it. This one is actually heavier than the .177 version, which is nice. The design is nice, somewhat reminiscent of a smaller frame Beretta. The exterior is all plastic, but the plastic feels solid in the hand. Firing this thing is a trip. I put the first two rounds of .25g Airsoft ammo almost straight through a Swiss Arms gel Airsoft target from a distance of about 20-25 feet. Unfortunately, that was the end of my faith in that target, so I switched to a tried and true Elite Force gel target. The rounds shattered against the target, but the target held up. I was able to get a decent grouping all around the center of my target. I have no idea on range greater than that, as I only target shoot indoors, but I find this gun is very powerful, perhaps too much for some competitive Airsoft arena. One thing is for sure, when I got to fire this gun again, I need a different target setup as gel targets just don't do well with this gun. However, that's an easily solvable problem as I will be firing this beauty more going forward.

"This gun is amazing and perfect for what I do and is very accurate with .20-.25g bbs which are pretty easy to get but one thing I wished was that I could get more clips.

"This gun is amazing and perfect for your short distances.

Pros:
Great FPS
Durability
Compact
Extremely accurate (.20 gram bbs)

Cons:

"I bought this 2 years ago, as my first CO2 pistol.

Pros: FPS is high, at close range it can make players bleed.
Its claimed to be 400 fps, with .25s I chrono'd it in at 330 at room temperature, seems about right.
It's light and compact.
Mags are easy to find, Crosman retails at Walmart so the mags are an easy buy.
Cons: Accuracy is good at close range but it drops fast beyond 45 feet. Doesnt matter in CQB, and on the field you shouldn't be using a pistol at that range anyways.
It is quite a solid gun, but a little too light (around 1 pound).
The externals are all plastic. But what can you expect for a $40 Crosman?
Verdict: Would not hesitate to recommend as a beginner pistol, or just a nice budget compact pistol.

"This is a great pistol for Beginners or experienced players. It shoots great and very accurate. Plus you can get mags of Amazon. This is was my first pistol and I still love it.

"This gun is very co2 efficent. The mags are of good quality and the fps isn't that bad.
here are some pro's and con's:

Pros:
Good fps
nice mags
medium speed trigger pull (con for some)
co2 efficent

Cons
Medium speed trigger pull(pro for some)
all plastic(except the internals)
hard to find a holster

Over all this isn't a bad gun. Like all guns this wont last forever and I would recommend upgrading this after a year or so to something of better quality. Overall a great Co2 pistol for the beginning to intermediate level airsoft player.

"so i bought this at wall-mart a several years ago.

pros;

heavy
its fairly gas efficient
shoots hard
magazines were easy to find and relatively cheep
magazines don't break, there full metal
wide range of guns the mags will fit in
$40

cons;

the frame is a piece of plastic garbage
my mag catch broke because it is again, a piece of plastic garbage
to much plastic parts (that will break)
will have problems using it at a normal field do to how hard it shoots unless you do something about that. like go to an outdoor field, or use heavy BB's.

it still ticks, been about 5 years now. i had to increase the thickness of the mags via tape. since the mag catch broke i needed a way for them to stay seated properly in the gun. i just use the friction of the modified thicker mag. to pull it out i made tape straps that hang out. goofy af i know. but its a backup. made to save the day should my primary break.

i mean for 40 bucks its not to bad. really can only be used at an outdoor field but 40 bucks is worth knowing that in case your primary breaks on you that day you can still play and have fun for 40 - 60 bucks worth of back up gun. there are certainly better options out there but you pay for what you get and its great for the price. if it breaks it breaks and you can still use your mags in a variety of different guns afterwords. so not a total loss.

i would recommend it if you didn't have gas gun already, they are cool to use. even if they don't blow back.

i would also recommend it if you don't have a sidearm better then a garbage springer.

its mediocre but it does the job for a good price.

"A few of my Airsoft teams members (myself included) bought this as a sidearm. Has a decently high fps however on my personal one I have a problem with the mag falling out while firing. Fixed this by a change in how I was gripping it but was probably caused by wear and tear. A fairly decent option for a sidearm and an affordable price!
