The Avengers CNC Aluminum Free Float Rail System for the M4 platform is beautifully crafted from a CNC milled piece of aluminum. The rail follows the 20mm Picatinny pattern allowing the use of all standard rail mount tactical accessories. Installation is made simple with the included aluminum barrel nut and locking ring allowing attachment to almost all M4 / M16 Airsoft AEG rifles. Integrated into the back part of the rail are QD sling swivel mounts for easy sling attachment (QD swivel sold separately). A sleek matte black anodized coating finishes off the rail system giving it an extremely aggressive look and feel.

"This is for the 12.5 version, though I believe the rails are all made the same way.

First impression is these are solid, well made, and well put together.

Mine fit nicely on a very old Echo 1 gun I turned into a more modern DMR build.

No wobble or wiggle. Fairly straightforward to do. The barrel collar and barrel nut screw onto the gun first. The barrel collar sits between the barrel nut (the part you screw down) and the receiver. The pins ensure the rail doesn't rotate once it's tightened down.

The only issue I ran into is the pins sit relatively loose between the nut and the rail, allowing them to rattle just slightly. Not a big issue, just a minor nitpick.

Overall, exactly what I needed and expected.

"I swapped a 7” rail for this one with a 10.5” barrel and am absolutely in love with it. The rail is very sturdy and solid. There’s plenty of rail space for attachments and accessories.
