"This thing is so much fun. A little background on me, I own 13 airsoft sidearms, and this is pretty far up on the list as a favorite.

It’s not actually heavy as the title would imply, its overall size is about a quarter smaller than a my m1911a1. It is dense for that size but all the weight is in the magazines, which are also quite small. The last thing to mention on the magazines is that you can actually get multiple fills of 15 rounds through without running out of gas. The secret is to first fill the magazine with gas and BBs and shoot it until you run out of gas. On the first fill of each day that you fire it you will likely run out of gas before BBs. If you then refill the BBs and the gas now that it has emptied for the first time, that fill should last for 30 to 40 BBs depending on your climate. Do this with each mag on game day and you will get good results.

It also has a Tokyo Marui standard gbb hop rubber in a wheel adjustable unit. I haven’t checked, but I’m assuming that means the inner barrel is TM standard GBB as well. And the blowback is snappy for the extremely light recoil spring. The blowback unit system is proprietary from what I have noticed. The air nozzle and seal system seems to work backwards compared to your standard 1911. With green gas I am getting 280 FPS on a .2 gram bb. With 170 psi red gas I am getting 320 FPS on a .2 grand baby. this is pretty common for green gas pistols, but certainly a little low.

Because it is smaller framed than a 1911, it doesn’t suffer from the same issue with most people not being able to reach the magazine and slide release. Simply put, I can easily operate this entire replica one handed. That size difference also means you could literally carry this in a khaki or cargo pocket.

This thing is simply fun. It’s a lightweight and small size make it extremely handy and I cannot wait to bring it to a local field considering I just got an s&t SVT 40 so I have quite the loadout on my hands.

I will be making a video review on my YT channel: Analog Airsoft.

"For those saying the Front bushing won't come off--The Tokarev pistol is a little different from the 1911, you take the barrel bushing off after removing the guide and recoil spring, then you pop the plug out. You need to remove the slide assembly to do this first. You CAN do this like a typical 1911 if you really, really try, but be warned: Most likely the spring and plug will shoot out the front of the gun the second you rotate the bushing out of the way.

Alright so first off, I'm sorry, I don't play airsoft anymore. All my GBB's and GBBR's are used for short action films I make, so they never see a chrono or even a single pellet in the mag. But, after digging out some sil oil and propane, I shot it.

Yep, definitely the gun I ordered.

it's a WETech Gbb, it gets about 260-300fps. It's practically the same as the rest of them, be that their Glocks, Berettas, Hi-Power, their legendary Desert Kimber, etc.
The difference is that this is a Tokarev TT-33. When you buy a WETech, you're just buying a WETech. What it looks like on the outside has about as much importance as a gun skin in a F2P multiplayer shooter, minus barrel length in some cases.

Some are more durable than others however, and over the past five years or so WE has generally gotten less fragile, perfect for the movies I want to make. This TT is one of the nicest WETech's I've had, up there with the absolutely beautiful RE-series Samurai Edges, the Black Lagoon Sword Cutlass, and the Knighthawk 1911.

This thing is almost 1:1 the same "Black Star" pistol you see in every 80's/early 90's John Woo film. You'll want to buy two and start leaping around like Chow Yun Fat in Hard Boiled, they're so fun to hold and handle. Like a more compact, somehow thinner Russian 1911. In airsoft, I think would make a really handy sidearm, its weight and size compete very nicely with WE's commander-sized 1911's or a WETech Baby Glock if you can get your hands on one from Taiwan or Hong Kong.

If you drop a pistol mag hard, make sure to shake it around. If it sounds like something is clinking around in there, you've busted the valve seal. It'll work but gas will continuously leak until empty. Eventually, all WETech mags end up like this: pistol, SMG, rifle, etc. The MP5 mags are quite durable though.

TT-33's Mag? Real nice. Solid. The 1911 mags are absolute messes. The little stop lip at the bottom always snap off, they are thin so the valve seals are more vulnerable and eventually leak. But this mag is noticeably heavier, has no bottom lip to snap off, and is a little thicker and longer. I have very good feelings about this one.

"this handgun is slim and easy to carry. the cost for the gun is also perfectly fine for the gun.
pros.
full metal
solid construction
threaded tip
decent finish
safety is easy to remove

cons.
mag can't reliably use full capacity
front bushing won't come off (could just be mine)
a bit slippery to the touch

all and all this is a great gun that i highly recommend
