I’ve used this gearset in my TM M14 EBR and it has held up flawlessly. Absolutely no wear after 20k rounds with a m140 spring, -still look brand spanking new. Personally I find siegetek gears really unnecessary as these are well made, and I have no doubts they will continue to perform for many years to come. ***Be sure to buy a Shs sector chip unless you are making a high speed build (which is blasphemy, don’t do it to your M14!), otherwise you will have Tappet timing issues and thereby feeding problems and low fps. This is primarily due to the lack of quality m14 mid caps that have strong enough springs to feed fast enough.

Regardless, I highly recommend this gearset.

***No, this won’t work for anything other than a Tokyo Marui spec M14. TM M14s use standard bevel and sector gears, with the spur gear being the only thing v7 specific.

"Really nice gear set, but beware it may cause Tappet timing issues. I installed and shimmed them in my custom Echo1 M14 EBR and the Tappet timing is off so I lose significant fps (200fps!) I am working to resolve the issue but beware it may not work properly. The timing chip is smaller than the stock one, but I can’t just swap the sector gears because my original sector gear’s shaft sheared off.
