"So the barrel I received isn't like the one pictured it didn't have the flat cut on the bottom but the overall barrel underneath is thinner so it does work out. Also, the barrel is most definitely a 14.5 not a 13.

"Very nice barrel, especially if you want to get rid of that horrible M4 fixed front sight. I wasn't sure how to put it on at first, but it is really easy to figure out. This will fit on most M4/M16's.

"This isn't 13", it's 14.5" total. Mine also has a horrible uneven paintjob. Also, I can see what appears to be casting marks on the end of the barrel that sticks into the upper receiver (it's a separate piece of metal from what I can see). This leads me to believe that it's not a full cnc aluminum barrel.

Additionally, the threaded tip doesn't seem to fit all of my 14mm- flash hiders/extensions. I'm not sure why some work and others don't but that's something to keep in mind.

I'll be returning mine since the actual length isn't what I expected and is much longer than what I needed. If you're looking for a 14.5" barrel, this one will get the job done, but I'm pretty disappointed with it.
