Cronoarms "Waybolt" Complete 3D Printed Conversion Kit w/ CYMA VSR-10 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle

"Great prop and pretty decent feeling rifle. Full disclosure, no game use due to its long size and some technical issues I'll describe below.

Good:
- Feels like an awesome clone of the Amban phase rifle wielded by everyone's favorite shiny beskar boi.
- (Mostly) high-quality construction: only the faux wood bits and thread adaptor/prongs are plastic (Though I wouldn't treat this like the strongest metal).
- Nice weight and great balance.

Preference-dependent:
- The stock is... different. I like how it fits my shoulder, but those with ample shoulders or much gear may not be so comfy.
-Plastic is plastic. It's light and reasonably strong, which means it isn't a chore to lug this around, but the "tac-tac" of plastic (especially from the stock) can be a little annoying of lead to fears of cracking (but hey, it gets the job done and saves my arms from carry burn).
- The prongs aren't metal (yea, I know it's for safety. No, I definitely haven't though about making it stun like the "real" thing. And sure, if it's only for a prop or if you actually use it, you don't need it- doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool.

Cons/the bad
- Not a 501st -grade quality. Look, I'm not a cosplayer, but even I know this isn't a "perfect" copy of the show prop (don't worry, I'm sure Cronoarms wishes it were, but they fear lawyers.)
- The Price. Perhaps it's back into the subjective. Maybe there's some other licensing/manufacturer's fee (but it's still $50-$100 cheaper than direct from Cronoarms). But I got mine for $250 from a Box of Awesome. That's a heckin' good deal. $450? Only buy if you'll spend more money making your own (for cosplay), or if you are super into the series (beats trying to stuff an EMG Fieldcraft into the nerf version). I'd say at $450 its between $50 and $70 to pricey for most casual Beskar fans.
- That dang plastic. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars from me is becausewhile Evike sells spare prongs (cause, y'know, plastic breaks), they DO NOT have a listing for the threading of the orange adapter that sits at the end of the rifle to convert the thread of the massive outer barrel/shroud to the 14mm- thread that the prongs thread onto. It looks almost too small for suppressor threads, but too big for regular bolt action threads. Who knows what it is? But since it's plastic, it'll break at its weakest point- where the 14mm threading joins the base of the adapter. So, just a warning if you ever get one and store it- plastic breaks. make sure the rifle is supported by the metal barrel housing or you'll end up with broken prongs ($25 fix), or like me break the irreplaceable front cap/adapter (meaning it won't even take tracer units). But suffering that involves some amount of user error.


TL;DR Great overpriced gun that's lots of fun and mostly strong, but plastic breaks and the most important plastic part doesn't have a replacement listed in description or anywhere else on Evike (as of late 2025). Worth if you're a fan and will care for it, nah if not.
