"First things First, This is a BEAUTIFUL weapon and I cannot stress that enough. Thiis was my go to when I played the first cod Black ops game and I just had to have it again. Although I love the gun I do have some minor complaints.

mine had a lot of play in the stock hand guard and the barrel but I fixed it by wrenching them down a fair bit
From what I understand does not take cyma ak mags without modification
the charging handle breaks loose cause of 2 little nubs but its mainly for looks and your hop up door
battery space is minimal and I mean VERY minimal
magazines wobble like no tomorrow but I am sure some modification will help that

This gun has no rail space or way to have a rail system to mount optics but ive seeen guys run ak hand guards to run rails really is a pro or con depending on how you look at it

"This Galil is just a CYMA AK in a Galil shell. It can even accept CYMA AK mags. The pricey CYMA Galil midcaps don't seat all the way, yet still feed even though there is a 2mm clearance between the lip and catch when manually held in all the way. Both the Galil midcaps and AK mags wobble when locked in, with the latter having more wobble. The thumb selector is actually fake and part of the motor grips mold, but this can be good or bad depending on if you ever want to deal with it. When upgrading my buddy's ICS Galil, we ended up removing the functional thumb selector entirely.

The battery space under the dust cover is a bit less spacious compared to the typical CYMA AK. A 1300mAh 11.1 stick won't fit. The way the charging handle is built can also run the risk of damaging your battery as it has a plate attached to it that rides over the top of the gearbox. Because of the limited battery space, I ran the wire out the side of the dust cover to a battery bag on the stock. I have a Baton 1100mAh battery that fits the dust cover, but it's current output is a little low.

I immediately upgraded mine knowing that since it is a CYMA gearbox, It would accept just about every aftermarket V3 part.

I installed:
-Gate TITAN advanced
-SHS 18:1 gearset
-SHS 16TPA motor
-ZCI 7mm bushings
-Lonex red FMR piston
-Maxx Model Products CNC aluminum piston head with plastic retainer instead of bearings
-ZCI cylinder head
-Lonex 19.7mm AK o-ring nozzle
-CYMA metal AK hopup
-Modify flat nub
-Modify flat bucking (black)
-superlube synthetic(metal) and silicone(compression) grease.

Overall this is a cheap and sturdy AEG that fits the CYMA brand. In its stock configuration, it will last a long time. Being that all the internals are AK standard V3, upgrading is easy to source parts for. I like it.

Overall a fantastic weapon for the rookie to the veteran. Highly recommend

"Great Gun overall, The weight is realistic and decently heavy, it has a nice Rate of Fire, good accuracy. It comes with a Large Magazine, 430 Rounds. The Sights are Very nice (Flip Up ones). All Metal of good quality, only plastic is on the Pistol Grip and handguard, but this is high quality. The ONLY Thing that got me disappointed was the Lose Bolt Lever, but besides that this gun is all amazing. (Note: My Magazine did not fit Properly when I first bought it, I had to file down the part that locks in, now it works fine)

"Got this gun used 1 year ago from a airsoft player that had it for a year, so my cyma galil is 2 years old beat up and abused every single game. I used this gun alot and also used it for loaner for players with no guns, no upgrades stock shooting at 350fps. This gun is very good and realible just like the ak that cyma makes. It has the same black gear box with metal bushing just like the new cyma ver. 3's outhere. Get this gun if you want a galil with alot of potential and can take abused like an arsoft ak. I have a TM ak for 4 years and this the only gun that came close to my expectations, the cyma galil. Maybe an upgrade spring and better motor is the only thing needed to do for this gun.

"Friend got me this for Christmas. Love this thing to death, only put in a new barrel, a Madbull, and an ASG high torque motor with an 11.1v LiPo. Great accuracy and performance, only issue is that the irons are not that good. My front post was a little twisted and the back irons don't hold together well. I replaced the back irons with a rail and just use a red dot. The charging handle breaks easy so get ready for that. For an affordable Galil this is the best choice for me!
