"I have had this gun for about 8 months, and here is my overall verdict: it has an insane rps, like about 23, but long range, not the best. Probably about 100 feet would be the max for accuracy. I put a we-tech threaded barrel on (it fit after like an hour of sanding and using a dremel) and currently use an Acetech lighter BT. Overall:
-Insane rps
-Design and quality, Marui is the best

-Small magazine, can only shoot for about 2 seconds

I would totally buy this gun if you are intending it for a backup, or as a CQB primary with an hpa adapter. I personally love it, it is a beast.

"This thing is a beast. Best full auto gbb pistol I've used.

Don't try to use it with a green gas / propane drum mag from AW because it will freeze and become way underpowered. Get a few extra standard or extended mags to run with it instead, or alternatively an HPA tapped drum mag from Tapp.

The sound reminds me of a jackhammer.
It will scare the hell out of your enemies.

Keep in mind it is short-stroked for fast cycling and to reduce impact wear on the plastic slide, so it will not lock back on the last shot.

Don't forget to keep it clean and well lubed.

Don't be afraid to use green gas or propane with it. If and when the slide breaks, TAPP sells ultra lightweight polymer slides for hicapa.

10/10 would buy again

"This thing is awesome. It's not the most accurate by any means, but it can still hit whatever you need it to easily. It's loud, so beware.

General use has been great. Don't have issues to speak of. Goes through rounds QUICK. As you probably already know if you're considering this. But it's worth it. I definitely recommend a few extra mags. I put a metal slide on mine after reading the recommendation for one down the road. Just got it over with now after 2 or so weeks of owning it.

If you want a small add on that can put down rounds fast if you're in a pinch or have a slower or beefier primary I definitely recommend it.

"I've owned this pistol for about a month now and want to point out that its great. The only problem I have had is that the field I play at has lots of sand. The sand got into the slide and is damn near impossible to get out fully. So it jams real easy when a little dirty. The gun also says it needs a full metal slide purchased soon after because of the fact that it wears down quick being plastic. The only metal of the entire gun is the inner barrel, the safety, the hammer, and the lower frame of the gun. Every other piece is literally plastic including the outer barrel. Great gun but even better when upgraded.

"I saw some of the comments below so I just wanted to point out that it does say, it's full auto only. I would suggest this gun for people taking a sniper role or for CQB combat. This a wonderful gun that is worth every cent! Hope all you people out there enjoy. Happy Airsofting!!!

"Great gun! amazing ROF. vary scary to face up against(REALLY LOUD). The range and FPS on the gun arnt that bad for a pistol. The only thing is there are no hi-cap mags. largest one's are 31 rounds. thats only a second and a half! they really need to make a larger magazine. but other than that its an amazing gun a must buy.

"ive had this gun for about 3 weeks now and all i can say is WOW!!!
This gun shoots very strong and it rips cans appart your better off using 25 gram bullets one negative thing is that it runs out of gas fast but by this gun its worth every penny

"this gun is so awsome it makes some of my assult rifles seem like shit

2.its metal
3.mag is metal
4.its blowback looks and feels awsome

Con semi-auto, but it doesn't matter u would never want semi with this rate of fire

I would give it way more stars but it won't let me.

"Bought one at evike walk in before they even put it on the site for $170.

WOW is all I can say!

Works with regular Hicapa and WE hicapa magazine.

Crazy rate of fire
Two tone slide looks nice.
metal frame with rail for attachment
metal magazine compatible with WE
decent weight

No semi-auto

"This thing shoots ridiculously fast. I can see why they recommend replacing the slide. I bought another slide for it, and learned that this gun is in fact the 4.3 model, not a 5.1. Changing out the slide was abit iffy. Had to pull the sides of the plastic slide so that the gas housing would fall out. I suggest buying a new slide and additional nozzle springs (my original got bent during the slide change some how) which you can find here on evike.

"I now have this airsoft pistol... and yes I highly recommend it. However, being in North America, aftermarket (metal) parts for this TM Hi-Capa seem hard to come by. First off, does this pistol utilize TM 4.3 or 5.1 aftermarket metal parts? Anyone know? Reply here. Thanks!

P.S. I want the aftermarket working parts in metal to ensure durability/longevity as I forsee the basic plastic frame breaking/warping over extended use.

"This gun is pretty cool, it shoots decent and the rate of fire is insane and fast. would be the best side arm for CQB. The slide is plastic. was hopping it was metal. other then that the magazine has a issue when filling it with green gas. the air is escaping out of the sides of the mag when filling it. dont know why but my other mags dont do that.

Webmaster: Japanese guns, especially on high rate of fire pistols, need to have high quality ABS slide instead of metal.

Excess gas leaves the valve, is a Japanese design. All KSC, WA, Marui pistols are designed that way, to prevent over-filling.

"I got a Hicapa Xtreme too. The rate of fire is good, but I would have been happier if they had a selector switch or something. It's not very accurate but I suppose if you're aiming for something about 10 ft away it's hard to miss. It's the long shots that will be the problem. It only shots like 220-250fps too. I'd say that it's great for a collector but on the field I'd say it's a waste of money. Keep in mind I haven't modified it yet or maybe I'll get better results using .25 bbs with xtreme gas. Or maybe it's just an isolated case and everyone elses Xtreme just works better than mine.
