"This bipod was an easy fit and somewhat tricky install for a JG G36. The bipod on my G36 had a leg snap. No surprise, I'm sure that JG's materials are not exactly the world's finest. The stock pin is held in place by a retainer clip that was a bit tricky to get off - a regular screwdriver will not fit, but a jeweler's/eyeglass repair screwdriver did just fine. Use a little pressure on one part of the retainer clip to push it off, remove the stock pin, replace the bipod, replace the stock pin, put the clip back into place as best you can with needlenose pliers, and push it back in with the jeweler's screwdriver. It took about two minutes once I figured it out and it was more an exercise in getting the screwdriver in there.

The bipod feels a lot more solid and less flexible than the JG one. It snaps and locks into place cleanly. I think it'll do the trick just fine for my lovely MG36.

"First off, let me say that I have had this bipod for a couple of months and that I have mixed feelings about it. This bipod when I got it looked great and I was fully optimistic to use it. I noticed that it came with a screw, but no nut. I figured that this wouldnt matter since I still had my front sling pin and the metal piece which pushes it to stay in place.

After installing it and taking it out in battle I noticed that the metal piece was strong enough to hold my front sling pin in, but not enough when the bipod was equipped. Later it came off, thus making it impossible for the bipod to stay on due to the loose front sling. I tried to find a nut to go with the screw that it came with, but every last choice was too big to fit into my hand guard. I had to hold it with steel wire. I am now going to try an mk36 front sling pin set (for C and K versions) and see if that will work.

Now dont get me wrong. The bipod looks great, and it looks so flush with my Mk36e2. Its made of nylon so its strong. It was made so you can have movement in the bipod for the perfect shot. Its pretty easy to fold in and out and even though it may wobble a little, it wont break easily. If anyone is wondering what weapon I used it was a SRC Gen. 3 Mk36e2

Pros:

Nylon (strong)

Movement allowed (can move the bipod so to get a good shot)

Easy set up and use

Looks amazing with your g36e or e2

Cons:

Came with a screw, but no nut thus making it hard for the bipod to stay on the hand guard
