Avengers B-10L Sport AK handguard for AK Series Airsoft Rifle (Color: Black)

"I'll start by saying that I got this for my CYMA Standard AK74 so anyone asking can have something to work off of.

The handguard itself seems well built. Very light, but solid feeling. I have a few gripes however. Chief among them is the tolerance. After fitting it to my gun, there is a considerable amount of wobble. More than enough to make me concerned about mounting any sort of lasers or optics using one of the optional upper hand guards. The problem comes from two locations. The lug that fits into the receiver is much smaller than the standard plastic handguard, which leaves a lot of wiggle room in the opening. On the other end, the lugs that are held by the handguard retainer up at the front are noticeably shorter than the plastic version, meaning the retainer can't put enough pressure to keep it pressed against the receiver.

That being said, this is airsoft, and a CYMA at that. They're built like tanks, but you have to expect some custom fitting. With a little shimming, I think I'll be able to make it a much more solid fit.

All said and done, it seems like a good handguard, but be prepared to work for it if you want it to be stable enough for anything.

"I installed this on a lct 105, with the rest of the sport kit.

The receiver lugs are going to require some filing. If you install this without the rest of the sport kit, it's going to wobble a bit.

All in all light weight but out of spec
