"Let’s start with the bad, this stock requires different screw type than what’s on the stock A&K SVD, and doesn’t include them, so prepare to spend some time at the hardware store. Secondly, the metal inserts that have said odd threading are horribly mounted, a couple of them fell out due to the wood being slightly delaminated and split around the mounting holes.
That being said, aside from the screw holes being weird and bad, the wood itself is surprisingly good, the Finnish is pretty on par with typical real surplus AK and SVD furniture, though I’d recommend re finishing it to feel higher quality and tougher, the figment to a stock A&K SVD was perfect, the handguard was nice and tight in the mounting brackets and looks fantastic

"bought this for my SVD II, so this wood kit is the cheapest one listed here on evike and in a way it shows. Came in with a lot of wood imperfections, dings and some dents but its wood, so its alright i guess. It did fit my rifle, however it did NOT come in with screws and it uses different screws from the ones the rifle has already. The front retainer does not and cannot fir in the wood because of the way its made on the inside plus the handguard seems a bit shorter than the original, it does however hold into place firmly, it just looks out of place cuse of the front not actually being in the retainer. I still think its not that bad of a product, my SVD looks way more authentic.

Cons:
Does not come with screws, you will need them
Wood is imperfect in some places, for example, the stock didnt line up perfectly with the receiver and the handguard does not fit the front retainer but still holds in place
