"Amazing pistol.
I have shot 3500 bb's out of mine and the seals are still good.
My hammer broke at the 2500 bb mark but I was able to replace the hammer with the eliteforce replacement hammer.
Still shooting good to this day. Really surprised at how reliable this has been for me!

"Great pistol. I have had Elite Force 1911s and this caught my eye because the magazines were compatible. Have fielded it several times now and it shoots like a champ. Good accuracy out to a decent range; strong, consistent blowback; no problems swapping mags from EF models. Feels solid and has good weight as well. Only little catch is the front sight sits up just a bit and it won't fit down into one of my hardshell holsters (Blackhawk) all the way, but it does fit another I have (Cytac). Generally have had good luck with EF mags and expect the one this came with to perform well. Absolutely would buy again.

"Great gun overall. Shoots consistently and reliably. I have owned 6 KWC 1911s, and I must say this one looks and feels the best. As long as you keep the gun clean, it will work wonders.

"I came on here looking for a new sidearm, and this was the first one that popped up at the top in an advertisement. The price was great, so I couldn't pass it up. Shipping was quick, it arrived the following week. As another reviewer already wrote, it turns a lot of heads as it is a very beautiful sidearm! The action is so smooth and feels amazing as you rack it, and operate it. Reminds me a lot of shooting a true 1911, just not as heavy as the real one. When I first got mine, the mag was having a strange jamming issue inside the mag... the BB's would get stuck in the middle of the mag, and as a result, the follower wouldn't feed into the feed ramp of the pistol. Also, the magazine spring was so tight when i first got it, that I couldnt even pull it down without messing up my finger (I have an injury on my thumb... not much fealing in the tip). I had to double up my shirt and use it to assist me sliding the follower down. I had to load one BB in at a time. I left the mags full for a while to break in the spring. This solved the problem, now I don't need any assistance. Ever since the first 2 or 3 mags, I haven't had either of those problems again.
The recoil is quite nice, and follow-up shots are very fast, as it doesn't take you off target. The slide locks to the rear on an empty mag.
The hop-up is a bit finicky on mine for the only reason that it doesn't stay where I set it... it will either slide to all the way off, or all the way on if I set it anywhere between, which isn't an issue for me, because I just leave it all the way off. This gun doesn't need any hop-up.
If you run .2g through it, the BB's will fly straight for about 30-40 yards, then hop-up about 20 feet (hop-up disengaged). With the hop-up fully engaged (since mine won't go between for some reason) it will hop-up about 30-40 feet... looks pretty cool when it flies clear up a tree.
With .25g BB's, they will fly straight the entire time, then slowly fall... my Max Effective Range with .25g is about 40-70 yards without wind (hop-up disengaged), with a Max Range of about 100 yards. I want to get .3g to test through it and see how it handles with the hop-up engaged. I am going to test from .3g, all the way up to .46g. If you want to know the results, just leave a question in the Q&A for this gun, and I will peek in at it to see if anyone asked about it every now and then.
I do not have a chrono, so I couldn't test the FPS, though I am pretty sure it is pretty accurate with the 1.2 Joule rating. It punches through two layers of cardboard at 10 feet with .2g BB's like it is nothing.
My buddy has a Tokyo Marui Hi-Cappa Extreme .45... that thing is sick, but he loves my new sidearm, and wants one for himself. We're both blown away with the MER of this thing, and we want to test as many different weights in it as we can.
I use it in a Blackhawk Serpa holster for 1911's. Fits perfectly, but I can tell it will eventually rub the finish off in a couple places, but that does not bother me.

Pros
-Accurate
-Beautiful piece of craftsmanship
-Functions flawlessly (after the mags broke in)
-Excellent Novak style sights
-The feel is awesome
-Range is beyond expectation
-Full Metal frame and slide

Cons
-Hop-up (on mine, not sure of the others... is not a break g point, as it doesn't even need it. I may replace the hop-up in the future)
-Comes with one mag
-Finish will most likely wear off in a few places, but again... not a breaking point.

Final Notes
Overall, this is an excellent piece of equipment, and I would recommend this sidearm to anybody out there... beginner, or veteran. If you're looking for a sidearm where beauty meets functionality, then this one won't disappoint. Just make sure you buy a spare mag... or 3

"Nice straight shot. Good feeling to the blowback. I picked up an extra mag but would recommend an extended mag as well.

"This is a great gun, love that ASG and KWC collaborated with Dan Wesson, I plan to get the real world version and have fired it. Have used it a lot and turns a lot of heads and I have had no reliability issues. I found the trigger did not have sticky problems or other issues like my other KWC 1911 but may not be the same for everyone.

"This pistol is great! I have the Elite Force and RWA versions of these 1911s Performance and recoil is the same as others so your really buying this just for the looks. I particularly love the some what smaller slide safety lever as I found the larger ones on the elite force tac and RWA versions to be too big and I would inadvertently activate it sometimes when drawing or holding it. I do love the look of this gun as the semi gloss grey finish is a bit more shiny than the matte-grey found on the elite force version. The grips are where I feel that some corners were cut because at a distance they look nice but if you look closer it looks like it is just white plastic with paint on. I am by no means an expert and I could be wrong but it looks like ASG was trying to replicate the look of G10 grips but not actually be A G10 material, but to be far this would add to the cost of the gun and at its price point it almost negligible. All in all if you want a unique 1911 with good performance with a tried and true systems this is the one for you.

Pros:
accurate as heck
range is better then most green gas pistols
unique look with out looking to flashy
nice trades and a nice overall finish
good sights same as the EF 1911 tac
smaller safety means less interference

Cons:
grips look like g-10 but isn't actually g-10 material
squishy triggers like other KWC 1911s
cycle rate is not as fast as some gbb pistols
no rail for lights or lasers
16rd mag, but EF 25rd extended mags work as well!

"Good Pistol, good FPS, good insides

"I got this gun a little over a year ago and this thing is amazing it shoots well and is dead accurate what more could you want one thing I don’t like about it is that it uses a lot of co2 so you only get 4ish uses out of the magazine but otherwise grate gun
by brandie d. on 01/04/2018
"I really didn't like the mag. it was hard to load and the spring was hard to push down but overall its a nice gun. :-)
