the mesh padding on the back area was a suprisingly nice addition!

mixed feelings on the magnetic pouches. they do work quite well and I like that they lock back securely after pulling a mag out, but i'm worried about using metal AK mags in them in the future. I only use polymer ak mags right now so it's perfectly good but metal mags might get sticky with the magnet.

5/5 better than alislop, cheaper/lighter/and more modernized than the real thing.

"This Smersh is pretty good overall.

For reference, I’m 6’0” and around 190 lbs. The belt was a little large for me out of the box. It can be adjusted, but the D-rings got in the way, so I ended up removing them.
The magazine pouches work well with a single AK magazine or even thicker magazines like 60-round replicas. Fitting two AK magazines in one pouch is possible, but it’s a very tight fit and makes it difficult to reach the magnets especially with the divider that’s a bit thick. That said, the magnets hold extremely well, and I personally prefer them because they’re quiet compared to other closure systems.
The butt pack has plenty of storage space. I was able to fit an M4-style speedloader, a T-shirt, shorts, a 32 oz Nalgene canteen, and about 1,000 rounds of .32g BBs with room left over. If you’re looking for extra storage, it definitely delivers.
I used this setup at my first milsim event and found it very comfortable. I wore it continuously for around 4–5 hours without any issues.

Overall, it’s a great piece of gear, especially for the price. Despite a few minor issues, I’d definitely recommend it.
