"I got this a few days ago, and ill say its a blast. I have a Asg universal holster and gng tracer on it, sadly the rmr i bought doesn't work but thats not the guns fault.
the pros
its a snappy pistol with smooth trigger pull
good ergonomics
Plenty of space to rack the slide and play around
good quality mags with a rather fair price
rmr and suppressor ready

cons
the magazines are difficult to reload (i might need to buy an addapter)
not many after market parts

overall a good gun hopethey make some after market parts, a extended mag or mag plate would be nice

"Overall, the EMG FN 509 is a great pistol. In terms of dimensions, it accurately reflects the size of the FN-509 Mid-size MRD. Luckily, I was able to fit the EMG 509 into my real steel 509 holster. It comes with two backstraps (regular, slim), suppressor height sights (pre-installed), low profile sights, rear tactical iron sight shroud (pre-installed), plate without rear iron sight shroud, and an RMR plate (comes with screws and an additional bottom plate for mounting) . The sight plates and backstrap are made of plastic. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to shoot this pistol yet, but it feels really nice in my hands. Comparing the feel to a real 509, the feel of the pistol is almost identical to the 509. Weight-wise, the airsoft version feels just slightly lighter, which isn't necessary a bad thing. Removing the orange tip was an easy process as well, all it took was a wrench and a few turns to get it off (muzzle is 14mm CCW).

Magazines are horrendous to reload, there's no BB window to use a speed loader, it's completely closed on the front
The tall suppressor-ready sights are preinstalled, but the tall sights are not compatible with the emg hardshell holster, as they are too tall and hit the top of the holster.
Orange tip is a PITA, and you have to removed it in order to disassemble the slide to change the sights if you want to use a holster...

Other than some annoyances, it's a fine little pistol
