"I won one of these a couple of years ago at Airsoftcon it wasn't really a style of gun that appeals to me not something I would buy. But once I started using it I was very surprised by the performance, accuracy and build quality. The only thing that i don't like is that the battery housing is really tight and it's impossible to fit even a small stick lipo I just end up painter's taping it to the stock. Other than it's one of my go to choices when I want to run something short length.

"It feels nice but I can’t figure out how to take the orange tip off to put the tracer tip on

"It's a great looking gun with pretty solid built quality. I have yet to take it on the field. My only problem is the Viper stock and it's extremely small battery compartment that it provides.

"Absolutely love the feel and look. Some comments though.

1. Battery compartment was to small to fit my battery, which is very small, I also saw other reviewers talking about it, prepare a very small battery

2. didn’t come with an orange tip(not a big deal, but is important where I live)

3. very good weight, a perfect mix of not to unrealistically light, but also not as heavy as an actual M4

"While an amazing gun internally and beautiful externals, there are 2 major issues I have with it.

1) Just like the other reviews, the size for the battery compartment is comically small. I mean, it feels like they designed the gun and hollowed out the buffer tube right before shipping them out because they forgot there needed to be a battery compartment. Only very specific batteries will fit in this thing and yes even if you do get it to fit it still feels sketchy.

2) For the price there might be some better options out there, whether you can find them or not I'm not sure. I would say this gun for the price is 110% worth it, just be prepared to have multiple small batteries instead of one or two larger ones.

I would not recommend this for outdoor use, not without some major upgrades. CQB fields all day long, but you probably won't be able to keep out with the medium-long range outdoor guns.

"the battery where u put it is small but it fits
by Isaac W. on 06/21/2026
"TLDR; 10/10 externals. 7/10 internals. 4/10 electrics. 1/10 battery space.

I bought this gun solely to HPA swap it.

Shooting: Chrono'd at an average of 275fps, 1.05j with 0.30g BBs. Shoots surprisingly well. I was landing 9/10 torso shots at 280 feet with the iron sights. Semi on 11.1v is okay and the full auto is just "faster semi auto."

Externals: I will say, the externals are top notch! Amazing fit & finish. Built like an absolute tank. Orange tip has a 1.5mm hex grub screw at 6 o'clock that needs to be removed before you can remove the blaze tip to install the included SI brake. The "brace" is sloid, offers good purchase with a plate carrier and has minimal wobble.

Internals: The gearbox had some casting excess in front of the mag release axle brace/loop that prevent the magazine from seating all the way. For me it was no issue, BUT to correct it I HAD to remove the gearbox to file the poor casting flush. Now the mags click right in. The gearbox is full ball bearing and has a quick change spring guide. The gearbox itself seems to be well made. The gearset is "meh" but will hold up in stock configuration on 7.4v for quite a long time- in fact, this whole gun will rock for a long time with no issues on 7.4v. The piston is of decent quality & has a full metal rack. The piston head is aluminum & had scarred up my cylinder. I would highly recommend changing the piston head to a POM head ASAP. The cylinder head is solid brass, seals well and has a meaty sorbo pad to cushion the system. The tappet plate is well made. The nozzle is brass, has an oring and seals well. Overall, the internals are pretty good.

Electrics: This is where they saved the money- and it shows. NO MOSFET OF ANY TYPE! I would advise against LiPo batteries in this guy unless you know how to not kill a LiPo battery as this gun has NO low voltage protection. This would not be such a deal breaker if not for the horrid battery space (more on that later.) The trigger contacts themselves arent bad, but its 2026. Come on. Sub $200 are coming even with basic MOSFETs.
The motor is quite cheap. You can smell the motor while running the gun quickly.

Battery space: This is where they stab you in the back. The battery space has an ID of 27mm and requires a battery no longer than 90mm. It is wired for Deans, but good luck finding a battery that will fit. Id recommend Evike 110269 in the Deans/800mah configuration. That or get creative with tape or a PEQ box.

Overall its a great intermediate gun if you dont mind archaic electrics (not even electronics) and can find a battery to fit.
Id personally recommend getting the following with it to have a better time:
-MOSFET of your/techs choice
-G&G rotary hop-up (Evike: 111966)
-FPS Softair POM/Nylon piston head
-4UAD Bucking (Evike: 113269)
-Better motor
