Rainbow trout are proven bait fish candy for any game fish that is feeding. After much field testing, we developed the Trout Limited Edition Baits. The 1/16 oz, 2-inch size, tested very well fishing the Truckee and Walker Rivers catching many nice Rainbow and Brown Trout as well as Pyramid Lake catching many big Cutthroat Trout. This size is great for fishing any stream, river or lake where wild trout live. Stocked trout also loves this color and it has been very effective on bass and crappie.

About Hookup Baits

Hookup Baits is a small business located in San Diego, CA that designs and manufactures the Original Hookup Baits jigs. The founders and owners bring to the table over 30 years of experience in the fishing industry and one day decided to design a bait that would change how people fish. These versatile baits are available in variety of colors and in sizes from 1/32 to 4 oz designed for freshwater and saltwater. In three years, the company who started in a small studio, to a basement, to a two car garage and now at a 2400 warehouse space that we have outgrown in the past year we would have never imaged so much growth in a short period of time. When asked how we became so successful it is all about make fishing fun, designing a bait that gets bit, the values of the company, the passion to give back to the fishing industry, and our Hookup Baits family that has been so supportive. We employ around 20 employees and proud to say our product is made in the USA.
