Arcturus PPK-20 PE Vityaz Steel-Bodied Airsoft AEG SMG

"This gun feels good in the hand. In my case the hinge on the collapsible stock felt stiff and hard to actuate without adding some lubricant. The front grip is polymer plastic and does bow in if you squeeze too hard, but we are talking grown construction worker grabbing for dear life kind of hard. The fire select lever on the side of the rifle does feel like it has a bit of over travel when set to semi and safe but it is not bad enough to stand out. The magazines for this gun are not the cheapest but they do fit well and seem to be of decent quality material. The electronics in this gun are stellar. Adjustable precooking, electronic motor braking, programmable fire modes and low volt alarm with fusing make this gun good for inattentive/inexperienced people and competitive players alike.

Patch is really cool and the suppressor the gun comes with is pretty cool too. Out of the box, with .28g PLA BBs, the suppressor mounted, and a fully charged 7.4V 2800mah 20C burst li-ion battery, i chronographed 1.419 Joules of energy at 330.3 fps with the stock spring.

The PPK-20 is beautifully constructed, the magazines seem to feed with minimal issues, but that brings me to my first point. This gun does NOT work with LCT PP-19 Vityaz magazines. They are different sizes/shapes. Big bummer considering the listing says they are compatible. The included magazine well extender is iffy at best. It is cheaply made, and uses two set screw (allen screws) to fix it in place. It scrapes up and gouges the outside of the rifle’s mag well to install it, and it is prone to slipping off. Besides that, the battery space is tighter than a standard AK, and it already crushed one of my new batteries badly. I highly recommend Matrix brand 1450 MaH LiPo batteries, they fit perfectly in almost any AK series AEG that has dust cover battery storage. Make sure if you get them, they are flat celled, not round, the gun comes with a tamiya (battery) to deans/T-plug (gun) to use tamiya batteries you already have. The box arrives full of neat stuff, and it comes with a mock suppressor that acts as an amplifier, but can be filled with foam to work as a suppressor. To change the muzzle brake, there is a set screw to remove with the included Allen wrench, 14MM- threads. Overall: nice gun, magazines are expensive, battery space is tight, package is full of good, high quality stuff. Trigger response and fire rate are great; even with the adapter wired to tamiya batteries. Shoots far, has a rotary hopup. I recommend buying an M95 spring if you want to use this for CQB, it shoots hard out of the box, and comes with a certificate for what FPS it shot, as well as the testing conditions. The quick change spring makes life super easy. It comes with a whole sheet of STICKERS… and patches. Truly the perfect package. You likely won’t regret buying this if you want this style of gun! (Also, the limited edition patch it comes with is awesome!)
