Action Army AAP-01 "Assassin" Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistol (Color: Black / International Version / Gun Only)

"This gun is amazing for the price, definitely a good gun for budget users. The recoil is nothing crazy and its overall really good.

NOTE: PLEASE BUY A SPEED LOADER WITH THIS GUN. It is very annoying and painful to reload magazines with just your fingers. The tension in the spring paired with how the little nub you press down to make room for more BB's is COMPLETELY FLAT means that loading this thing with just your fingers is extremely difficult. Don't make the mistake I did, ORDER a speed loader! Trust me you will not regret spending an extra 8 bucks on your 100 dollar gun, that you also need to buy green gas with to raise the price even more.

I would also buy spare magazines even if you don't intend to go use it in an airsoft match, you don't wanna be constantly reloading mags for 120 seconds after a quick 10 second burst of shooting. When adjusting the hop-up, I found that just turning the gear left a bit with a pocket knife works well at keeping it shooting straight.

So cheap you can get a new set of parts a new mag by just buying a new AAP. Great for a gift for a new airsofter trying to get into gas replicas.

"this was my second airsoft gun and I do not regret it. The only upgrades I have made to it is a CowCow short stroke and guide rod kit (making the full auto faster and cycling faster) and a TAPP M4 HPA adapter and sheesh it sheds. I mean no other upgrades and i was using like an AEG (at an outdoor field) and i wasn’t missing.

Pros
it looks amazing and stands out like a fruit loop in a world full of chiros
i don’t personally like full auto but if you do then thats a plus for you
it has a ton of upgrades (i would argue more than a hi-capa)
im pretty sure it’s combatible with Glock 17 and 19 mag but i havn’t tested it

Cons
the fire select absolutely sucks (but can be upgraded)
i can’t really think of any others

"Literally one of the best airsoft pistols if not the BEST airsoft pistol out there. It is absolutely insane how much value you get from this for $100.

Pros:
- Great out of the box!
- Lots of aftermarket support
- Semi / Full Auto
- Very gas efficient due to having no slide, also helps with top mounted optics
- Super versatile, can be modified to fit almost any role

Cons:
- Stock hammer easily breaks
- Looks are not for everyone, however with great aftermarket support this really isn't an issue

I'm planning on buying at least one more of these in the future and turning it into a carbine build. I love my HI-CAPA 5.1, but this thing just absolutely beats the capa in terms of price and versatility for me.

"I have this pistol with a carbine kit, upgraded springs and a short stroke, soon going to hpa. I absolutely adore this gun in every way. Originally bought to carbine as a secondary to my DMR, but fell so in love I often run it as primary. A little work makes it an absolutely devastating and small platform. This little beast lays down fire like nobodies business. I know they are controversial but I don't care I'm a proud AaP fanboy

"really enjoying this pistol so far, while mine did blow up, i was trying to get it to blow up so i can justify buying upgrades, already had put a barrel and bucking into it, i ran it all day with a tapp mag adapter on full auto and that's when it blew up, probably just needs a hammer spring but im gonna go ahead and upgrade everything else as preventative maintenance
