Orange tip is easy to get off

Cons:
You cant put actual 1911 grips on the gun without making slight notches in the grips
The magazine is a pain in the rear to load with bb's
Oily when you get it so make sure you wipe it down

This gun is great and i reccomend this gun to anyone

"I was debating on getting this one or a kjw, and i just got it and am very happy with it. it is all metal and very good quality. mine came with a different slide than whats shone in the pictures though, its still looks the same except it has "Caspian" laser engraved on the side of it and has 2 caspian "C's" on the end close to the hammer. which i think is really cool. theres no defects with it and is deffinately the right thing to get if you are looking for a good priced, great quality 1911.

This pistol is by far a lot better. WE is based on the 1911 style and because of that history have discovered ways to manupulate techniques and find out what is just right for the gun style.

"this is an exellent secondary i just got it and the range on it is unbelevable it goes very far just with the hop up off. it packs very good recoil it moves your hand very good and it stings to be shot with i will be using it in a match soon but this is not my primary my primary is an M4-A1 i recomend this gun to any one it is realistic it blows back like advertised the only plastic on it is the brown grips and the loading tube inside of the slide other than that the gun is full metal and the slide will lock back in place when the mag is empty this is the best choice for a 1911 the kjw has plastic hop up and the range ain't as good this has metal hop up and like i said this is a good 1911 model its reliable and very affodable and hopefully yougo with this choice.

"Wonderful pistol, however slide catch broke 3 days after using. You can always get a replacement one for like 12 dollars.

"Pretty useful sidearm as is. C02 lasts in the magazine about 3 reloads. Not much to complain about as construction is pretty solid and performance is average at best. If you need a handgun this will serve you until you decide to make the transition to custom hi-capa.

I made the terrible mistake of doing so, green gas performs very poorly in colder areas, much worse than you could imagine. I can get off maybe 2-3 bbs every full mag during the winter at around 20-30 degrees.

The magazine tip for the gun is very weak. Although it's full metal, the tip used for feeding is plastic and if you pull back the loading spring too hard, that thing will fly right off.

OVERALL: The gun itself is reliable, accurate, comfortable, and simply just fun to use.

"This gun is a 6 out of ten. It's well constructed and has a great look to it. It also feels rlly real in the hand. The main issue with this thing is the sights. Now I know it's supposed to be the original but these sights take so long to line up bc they r just so damn small and r the same color. When u first get this gun the hop up is WAY to far up. U want to adjust it to the lowest it can go. That will give u pin point accuracy at about 40 feet. This gun is over pretty solid. However I would recommend the glock 19 as your sidearm. That baby is flawless.

"I bought this roughly two years ago to use in my backyard as a training aid in lieu of my real RIA 1911 GI. It also gets it use as my dedicated cockroach killer. I have never played airsoft with it. It's survived the 2 years well, at the time that I ordered it I also ordered pretty much every upgrade part available on this site: Angel Custom piston head and rocket valve. RA-tech 6.01 barrel, Guarder 150% recoil/hammer springs, and the reinforced nozzle return spring. I only shot a few mags worth before changing out all of the parts, and honestly can't objectively tell a difference. It's still not very accurate with .2 bbs (hop up off/lowest possible setting) when shooting at a 6" steel plate at about 15 yards. But it is reliable. I swapped out the included extended slide catch with a GI style one made by WE to match my real 1911, but the slide catch doesn't actually lock the slide on the last shot since there isn't enough material to be pushed up by the mag follower (currently attempting to remedy this with some JB weld). I�ve also replaced each valve in my magazines with the Angel Custom high flow valve in an attempt to fix some sticking valve issues the OEM ones had. Seems good so far. A big plus is that it fits into my custom molded kydex OWB holster, and the mags also fit into my kydex molded mag carrier, though a little tight. Pretty good stand in for the real thing albeit a tad lighter in heft, and obviously the shooting dynamic is completely different. The gas consumption is still fairly inefficient with my upgrades, but propane is cheap. Build quality is decent for airsoft and finish quality is what I would call par or subpar. The frame/slide finish is a nicer matte parkerizing look-alike but all of the small parts on it look like they were painted with cheap paint and it rubs off very easily. All in all, definitely worth the $90 bucks in OEM form, probably not worth the almost $160 total cost with the upgrades.
TLDR summary:
Pros:
- It�s cheap
- Mags are cheap ($15 on sale usually)
- It�s pretty much dead on dimensions-wise with a real 1911, will fit in holsters made for a 5� 1911 without a rail
- Fairly powerful, recoil is enjoyable
- Easy to maintain
- If you have a real 5� 1911, you would like this

Cons:
- Gas efficiency is poor even after upgrades
- Not going to win any marksmanship contests even with a 6.01 RA-tech barrel
- Finish on small parts will come off with ease
