Prometheus Wide Use Rotary Style Hop-up Chamber for M4/M16 Airsoft AEGs

"Bought it for my polarstar build after my MAXX was giving me issues. Paired with a maple leaf 70 degree bucking and the thing will shoot straight lasers with .32g bbs at 1.4J. Only problem ive seen is a very slight feeding issue with lancer tactical mid cap mags but that just might be my case

"My factory hop-up unit on my Krytac Trident Mk2 (spr) has got a broken part on the factory hop-up so I purchased this unit as a replacement/upgrade. It was very easy to assemble and all the parts fit together very well. As this is the only seperate part to the gun I'm glad to say that it works well with all of the other factory parts. I will still use the stock barrel and bucking as there is no issues and it works great without having to make any modifications at all to the gun.

With a bit of testing I have not noticed any feeding issues with Lancer Tactical high-caps and Krytac mid-caps and it doesn't seem to skip any rounds or struggle to feed, even with an 11.1v on full auto. I also did not notice any jamming, misfires, or bbs sliding out.

The hop-up is easy to asjust, lightweight but definitely sturdy feeling, and a wide range of adjustment. I do wish that they would add a marker or indent signifying the middle of the wheel, I can't tell where I'm set unless I guess. And I'm guessing this is my clumsiness and I lost it but I couldn't find a little black rubber cylinder that pushes down on the bucking when you adjust the hop-up, I was able to solve this issue by scrapping the little orange cylinder from the factory hop-up and it works fine.

For anyone new (like me), with the krytac trident mk2 spr, you will find TWO springs when you slide the barrel and unit out of the upper reciever. One is a thinner and longer spring and one is a shorter thicker one. I had to do a little reaserch to find out where the smaller thicker one goes because it wasn't in any instructions or images for this hopup. Once you install the hopup, put the little metal ring in to keep the barrel straight, slide in the longer thinner spring from the front until it hits the hop-up and slide in the thicker larger one OVER the thinner one until it hits the hopup.

"Better consistency than the krytac hop up. About the same accuracy, range but that's more dependent on your barrel/bucking/nub set up. Wheel is firm and stays in place. Bought because my krytac unit cracked. Feels very strong, the Krytac addition (wheel and clip) is pink btw. Clip is properitary. Fits kosher in my CRB MK1.
