EMG Strike Industries TRAX AK74 Stamped Steel Airsoft AEG Rifle w/ Buffer Tube Stock (Model: Carbine / Black)

"The Good:
The AEG looks great and work great out of the box. I got the rifle length and its 10lbs give or take.

The Bad:
I originally bought the CQB length, but for some reason the box was mislabel and i got something that had zero strike industry parts or mag.

Funny thing to if you watch one of the newer Evike video top 10. Matt reviewed that AGE that was wrong.

Sucks I had to get the longer AEG, but I'm happy with what I have.

"Received out of a mystery box and this thing is fantastic! Super sturdy feel, steel construction, clicky controls, snappy fire rate. Definitely a win for sure.

"I picked up the CQB tan version of the gun. The gun is deans wired, and runs amazingly on an 11.1 lipo 1000mah.

"Got this gun right when quarantine started, but it shoots great has pretty good trigger response and feels pretty solid the only things that I dislike about this gun is the stock because after a bit of use it wiggles a bit and there's very little battery space. And beware it's pretty heavy. Overall really good gun for the price

"Finominal gun. 395fps with .25g bbs. Built solid. Loves g&p metal ak mids. Only down side is the folding stock joint is made out of a strong abs. I just wish it was metal. But the buffer tube is metal and can accept magpul stocks.

"Great gun, solid well built, runs a little higher fps than advertised, mines shooting 490 fps with .20 bbs. great range and very accurated

"The gun is pretty good. Unfortunately I bought it for CQB so I'm going to have to get it modified. It'd be a 5 star review if they just put a weaker spring in the CQB model.

"This gun is solid it loves .25 bbs and i got a consistaint 387fps with .25 ive roughed it around and played a few games with is and it keeps going the trigger response is perfect and it shoots a good distaince


Pros
-it is very consistent with fps
-trigger is good
-gun is 80% metal
-it shoots about 200 yards with .25s

Cons
-the gun weighs 8 pounds
-the selector switch is very loose after about 15 games
-the lever to ajust the stock is so loose that its rattles like no tomorrow

I do suggest this gun super fun to play with

"The gun I got didn’t have the same stock as this one so beware. Otherwise shoots great but it’s sorta front heavy for the full rifle version.

Would give 4 stars but the wrong stock bummed me out

"I first bought this gun in September of 2023. As of November 2023 I am writing this review.

I excitedly unboxed the gun, only to realize I had the wrong battery. (My mistake). When I am finally able to use it, for whatever reason I can only get out around 8 shots at a time no matter what mags I use. I take it to the desert, and the stock swivels right off. I tightened the stock and I head out the next week, the fire select goes limp and the stock swivels off again. I treated this gun with care, never dropped it or threw it. I kept it in a case and away from water.

The gun fires really well and shoots really hard. Just not sure why the gun can only shoot 8 bbs at a time. Maybe I got a defect model? Also, I did not receive nor can I find a manual for it. Very cool gun though. Heavy but it’s all metal.

First airsoft gun I give it a 7/10.

"Paying a decent amount for the gun for it to come with a broken internal is very frustrating but the return/repair service were very quick and efficient.

"Cool design, but if you're looking for a gun that's easy to upgrade then this is not your gun. If you take it apart you better remember how to put it back together because there's no easy way to find instructions other than some diagrams in chopsticks and bad english, it's hard as hell to tell the difference from a rivet and a pin OR a hidden screw under a metal cap, as well as the fact it's construction is pretty dang complex so even trying to get out your hop up takes some time. Otherwise it's a pretty neat little gun.
