SHS CNC Machined Lightened Aluminum AEG Piston with Stainless Piston Teeth (Half Teeth)

"My gun jammed and this thing literally went from a circle to an oval. Took out a cloth and some plyers, squished it back into shape and it worked good as new. No damage done to the teeth which was a pleasant surprise. Other than that, super light and fairly solid. would buy again. (just don't jam your gun)

"This is a very nice piston. Out of the package, the piston is very finely machined (no rough edges, no excess aluminum protruding anywhere). My piston head was able to fit flat on the piston without the need for any fabrication on this piston (which is often a problem for other pistons). In addition, this piston is really light. It's about as light as a plastic Swiss cheese piston.

NOTE: You MUST have a gearbox shell that is made out of material that is as durable or more durable than the piston itself. Otherwise, it will begin to wear on the shell and you will begin to see metal shavings in your gearbox. Make sure that your gearbox isn't made out of melted beer cans and is instead made out of REAL aluminum.

I dont really know what caused this, but this piston started bending inside my cylinder and stuck to my main spring. This caused the sector gear to have imperfect contact with the piston teeth which stripped the teeth from the piston.

This may have been my fault as I didn't realize that aluminum tends to bend quite easily as this one did.

On another note, the maching is good and the piston is incredibly lightweight, but heed my warning that the aluminum is thin and can bend under pressure.
