"Works well but I would not recommend to people with really small pistols

"As the description reads; this holster is meant to be used for 150 different pistols that can accept a Streamlight TLR-1/2 tac light. The holster utilizes the tac light for retention rather than the firearm itself. It came with all hardware included. So far, my KWA 1911 Mark IV, M9A1 PTP, KSC G34, and my WE USA 1911 KB Custom fits in this holster as long as a REAL TLR-1/2 is attached to the pistol. However; a Night Evolution X300A will also work with minor play in the retention.

"Realy good fuctioning and made holster. Sadly enough isn't it compatible with a safariland UBL Mid-ride. Now i have to drill holles in a QLS fork to make it work.

"This holster is excellent quality, but unfortunately it doesn't fit an x300v. I does fit every handgun I've tried with both the x300 and the x300 UA. Also, you won't be able to use a supressor while running this holster

"I've been running an omivore for a little over a year or a year and a half (lost track), have experience with both the non-light bearing model which I started with, and my current X300u variant. Both in right hand config.

First the non-light bearing model does take some time to get used to with the mounted bracket. Most of the time I found that settling the bracket on the opening of the holster and then sliding in gave me consistent locks unless my wrist was at an odd angle. This allowed for a constant reference point for reholstering.

While the stated 150 real steel compatible claim I have no doubt is true, airsoft has many different variants. I've gotten glock replicas, Asg P-09, EMGs DS2011, my current VFC M17, my former P320 carry, (have not tried my new full size RX), Vp9 replica, M9a3 replica, and the echo1 wolfsbane. Of all of these only 2 issues arised and one fact. The fact: the holster will not compensate for any pistol with a barrel longer than 5 inches. The m9A3 basically bottomed out, the wolfsbane with its compensator would be out of battery nearly half an inch and expose the blow back unit. The material at the base of the holsters opening is thin however and could easily be dremeled out as needed. The only other issue I encountered was with the DS 2011. The non-light bearing model has an extra line in the holster molding to help index the locking bracket. That material, along with the looseness of the locking bracket, allowed the 2011 to shift and bumped the mag release while running/jogging. I thankfully found the mag after that one incident. 5 minutes with a dremel once home and it allowed enough clearance for the mag release. My X300U variant has play as well but my light is a replica, other than that no issues at all.

My one large issue with this holster and why I give it 4 out of 5 is the mounting options and its ride height. Out of the box you have a paddle and belt mounting option which is good. But those ride so high, even with a change to the cant of the holster, it was an act in itself to chicken wing my arm so high to actuate the release and unholster during drills and gameplay that I rarely carried my sidearm. (I'm 5'7" 32 inch inseam) Looking for mounting options I had an old serpa molle attachment that lined up nicely with the omnivore mounting holes. That helped a little as it rode lower but still did not please me. I finally ordered an adjustable mid ride FMA replica mount that fit and now have no issues.

TLDR: Holster is great for what I use it for. Very few issues outside of what could be considered personal nit picks with the ride height. If you have multiple side arms, or are experimenting with side arms and want to save money buy getting only one holster, this fits the bill.

"Multi-fit holsters are like tactical Goldilocks. This at least comes with something that you have to fit on the pistol rail that helps, but installing it can be a pain in the butt.

Honestly, my next holster purchase will be a one tailor-made for the model pistol, not this.

"My HiCapa 5.1 and WE 1911 fit BUT I had to modify the holster because the mag release let hitting and causing my mags to constantly fall out. Even modified I have issues here and there

"This would be a really great item only if it came with the rail retention device. The item that makes this item accessible to the 150 different types of handguns like the review says. I know someone else where this happened to as well and he had to order another one just for the rail attachment

"It would be a really good holster only if I wasn't missing the rail retention device. The one part that makes this item accessible to the 150 different styles of handguns.
