"I have had this gun for about three weeks now and I have to say I'm more than happy with it. I wanted a gun that was solid on its own, meaning something that was reliable and high performance without making my own upgrades. This is the perfect gun for that.
Pros:
High rate of fire
Accurate with .25 gram BBs
Good range
The comfortable kind of heavy
Quick with semi-auto, even for a harder trigger pull
Excellent battery life
Plenty of battery space

Cons:
Plastic on the stock and barrel feels fragile
Harder trigger pull for semi-auto
Battery rattles loose in the stock
It is loud-firing, so if you're trying to take a shot while hiding, chances are you'll let the enemy know you're nearby
(Expected but annoying) You have to rewind the mag after every 20-40 shots

In the end, the pros far outweigh the cons, the combat performance of the gun makes all the design issues relating to it tiny

"I am satisfied with this gun. It is very good for the price, and a quality entry-level gun that could be upgraded.

Pros:

It's decently heavy. It's about as heavy as a real M16. It's heavy enough to avoid feeling fake and toyish. I'd say my standards are pretty high for realism, and this is acceptable for me. Yes, I would rather something a heavier but the heavier stuff was expensive. I didn't want a Kalashnikov, but if that's your thing, check out CYMA's steel AKs. My friend got one and it is fantastic.

The price is excellent. I bought a different rifle for about ten dollars more and it was a piece of junk. This is not. The upper and lower receivers are made of an aluminum alloy, and the barrel, carry handle, butt plate, and sling mounts are metal too. There is some rattling when you shake it, but none of it originates from the receivers and insides. You can easily use tape to silence the front sling mount, handguard, battery compartment hatch, and the stuff inside the stock. The carry handle is removable, though you'll want a riser to raise an optic above the front sight post.

The long barrel is great for long range stuff, this thing is really accurate. With .32 gram BBs, I can get a good 5 foot grouping at about 50 yards with moderate breeze. If I'm watching where the bbs are going and adjusting for wind and such, I can hit a 12x12 inch target pretty reliably.

The motor is adequate. I don't know a lot about motors, but it does it's job, and I think it will be sturdy enough for more powerful batteries. The FPS is high, high enough to be a little hot for some fields. I would say that the estimate they give in the specs is close, though I have not tested it.

The room in the stock is endless. It's basically empty, so you'll never have to worry about size when buying batteries.

Cons:

It isn't as heavy as I would like. It's not a huge problem for me, I'm pretty satisfied. The weight they advertise is accurate. The balance is alright, I have no complaints about it.

The furniture is plastic, as it should be, but the plastic is what you would expect. Not great, but it'll do. I'll be honest, it does feel a little cheap sometimes. You could replace it someday, but I don't think I will.

The paint on the receiver does not match the shade of the stock, grip, handguard, or carry handle. It is kinda noticeable. The lower receiver also has some stupid decal and some stupid arabic writing, but no one will see that but you.

The hopup, even on the lowest setting, is too powerful for .20s. .23s would be the lowest weight I would expect to work. You can still get kills with .20s, but the sights cannot be adjusted enough to be accurate past 15 feet. You will have to aim low. On the plus side, it is well within this gun's power to hop .32s and probably heavier.

Some people are saying that the fire selector switch is terrible, but I haven't found that to be the case. It could get worse with more use, though, so keep that in mind.

The only thing to break has been the ejection port cover. It's metal so it didn't break, but the little part that holds it closed did. I've taped it closed. It's only used to access the hopup, so it's not a big deal. I'll find a more permanent solution soon, or fix it.

The rear sight apertures are plastic. It does have night and day apertures, which is cool.

The RoF on semi-auto is a little bit slow. Not terribly so, however, it can still compete with most guns. On semi, it's about 300 rpm, but on full auto it increases to over 400. If you're careful about the rules of your field and have good timing, you could probably keep it on full. If you need immediate trigger response, you're probably within a shorter range of your enemy anyway, so I'm just going to use a pistol. You could easily upgrade it, too. I'm going to get an 11.1 LiPo and a Burst Wizard 4 for it You could get a different MOSFET for it, but I like the wizard because it's easy to install and you can program it for bursts and piston precocking. Even though I am upgrading it, I don't think you would need to. When I've played with it, I've never found myself thinking that I could have done better with a higher fire rate.

It's long, so CQB will be a pain, especially if you haven't done anything to increase the RoF. It's another reason why I'll by using my pistol for that.

In conclusion, I recommend it as an entry level gun. It isn't something I would buy to upgrade into a high-level gun, but it performs well and feels good enough.

"This was the first more or less "serious" rifle I picked up when I got into the hobby a couple of years back. For what you pay, you get a pretty strong and reliable weapon. The metal bits add a decent bit of heft which you don't get in many other AR-pattern rifles at this price point. Out of the box, it's pretty accurate thanks to the 20 inch barrel and can reach out pretty far thanks to the fps. However, it does shoot a bit hot so be sure to check if it's legal at whatever field you play at. The gearbox is also quite robust and easy to work on as far as AEGs go. As much as I love it, the stock does tend to be a bit wobbly. The battery wobbling and moving around inside can also make a bit of noise. Overall, I'd say it's a great weapon for those who are starting out in the hobby and want those sort of retro vibes or something a bit on the beefier side as far as M16/M4s go. Thoughout the past couple of years I've gon through quite a few weapons, but this one remains the "ol' relaible" that I can fall back on.

"Great gun for the price. I bought it as a Xmas gift for my son and I can’t stop sneaking out to the backyard to shoot this baby. The Body is nice and solid. The accuracy at about 30yrds was good with nice groupings. I’ve later upgraded the inner bore, hop up, and installed a m130 spring. This thing is now a beast! I know that my son will enjoy it as much as I do. I’d recommend this as a great starter dmr.

"Great gun! Also it has 14mm negative threads. Reminder, gun is heavy use a sling!

pros
-great battery storage
-really durable
- can be upgraded and its easy to
- magazine is great
-great fps (do not know exact)
-carrying handle can be removed leaving a rail to put a sight on
-battery it comes with works great
-shot around 5,000 bbs maybe more and has not failed once
-hop up works great

cons
-hand guard has a slight wobble (it could just be mine) but that con is not that bad and it does not effect the gun's performance!

Overall great gun would recommend to beginners because it is easy to upgrade and it is really reliable! Its worth the buy!

"This is the first air soft gun iv'e ever bought and it is a BLAST! I always go out with my friends and make them jealous, mostly because this gun is the only gun out of all our guns that hasn't broke

"This thing is a machine. Kind of.

I had purchased this rifle with plans to mod it, so I made sure I purchased a few spare parts, which I will get to later.

Stock, this thing shoots relatively hard, if I had to guess I'd say close to 400, but I didn't chrono the thing before I swapped some parts. Unfortunately, the brass barrel that came with it was actually bent slightly, as every shot pulled HARD left to the point of the sights being useless. Fortunately, a Matrix stainless steel tight-bore barrel made that problem disappear, and the new barrel combined with a krytac bucking makes this sucker a force to be reckoned with at virtually any realistic range. A side note, the krytac hopup unit will NOT work in this gun, magazines won't feed and its too tight to the walls to be adjusted. This gun will however work flawlessly with Evike's BAMF mags. I picked up 3 and they feed perfectly.

Overall, if you're willing to switch some basic parts, this is an incredibly solid choice. And for what it's worth, the hand guard is very easy to remove, and it looks as though installing a new rail system would be simple.

Best of Luck,
~Garrett

*super minor note* the bolt release is stubborn, you really have to push it to close the hopup

"Love it so much I bought another one as a spare..I shoots .25 at about 375 fps out of the box. It is very accurate up to 125 ft or so. Most of my shooting is within 100 ft so that limit suits me nicely. After a couple weeks at the field with this gun I get picked pretty quickly. The sights are quite good and easy to see threw. Semi or full auto it shoots equally accurate. I put a vn style grip on it and it looks cool. The second one I got shoots nearly identical to the first. I'm very happy with both of these guns. All good. One con is after about 30,000 rounds the fps dropped alittle...345 to 350 with .25 but the accuracy hasn't wavered at all. Hope this helps.

"A really good gun, wish I still had mine but traded it for an AK-47 full metal and real wood, but I miss it.

It was also the most accurate gun I've ever had.
by Nathaniel V. on 05/03/2016

Cons
-wiggly barrell
-plastic stock
-can not fit a m4 crane stock

"Gun is among one of my favorite rifles in my arsenal. Didn't have the best range out of box but madbull 6.03 and an Angel Custom bucking fixed that problem. Now it's a good fps, an ok rof but it doesn't bother me since I use it as my DMR and if I cared I throw one of my 9.6v batteries in there, and a good range.
Pros:
Good fps
metal
durable
beautiful

Cons:
Not insanely high rof
metal scratches easy but not ugly scratches
not great range out of box

All in all buy the gun, throw in $40 worth of upgrades and it's a beauty. Pay $40 more for a scope and now you have a DMR. I've taken in to many wars with friends, and some skirmishes and I was able to go against everyone just as good as anyone else, and I'm taking this to my first op in June!
