WellFire Webley MK VI Airsoft CO2 Gas Revolver

"This revolver is a rebranded WellFire G293 AKA the Webley MkVI.

Ive had one for about a year now, and in my opinion its better than the WinGun version:

+ Cheaper than WG version
+ Shoots at a field legal FPS
+ Co2 with great efficiency
+ Full metal besides grips and orange tip
+ orange tip is easily removed and is -14mm threaded
+ Ejects shells when opened 'with pace'
+ Accurate with good iron sights
+ HAS A FIXED HOPUP!!!! (likes 0.25g)
+ Unique WW1/WW2 collectors piece that you can actually skirmish with

- Not quite as good quality wise to the WG, but to be fair its solid enough
- Only comes in black
-Spare shells are hard to find, but hopefully Evike will stock them (DOES NOT TAKE Dan Wesson SHELLS)
- Hopup is fixed, but hey, it has one so thats a start

+/- Seems to be mostly a copy of the WG, but there are roumours that WG shells dont fit but i dont see why not.

Easily the easiest revolver to justify the money you'll spend on it, since the WG version is worse and more expensive.

"A nice, heavy British revolver. This is a gun that is not represented too often, despite being the main British sidearm of the British Armed Forces for decades.

The gun comes with shells and a small bag of BBs. The orange tip is threaded in place. The gun breaks open which also lifts the shells part way out of the cylinder, as on the real gun, to facilitate ejection. Be careful, as you could pop the shells out completely if you open the gun too fast. The shells are about the size of a .38 but the gun represents the .455 version on the outside and barrel bore.

The gun shoot nicely, even when you fire the gun in the double action mode, rather than cocking the hammer manually. Fairly accurate with nice velocity. I installed one CO2 cartridge and shot 24 rounds with plenty of gas left over. The cartridge seals well, using the lanyard ring as the tightening device. No need to carry a hex wrench.

An excellent gun for Brit collectors or reenactors. The finish, flat black, could be shined up a bit, but it has a great look right out of the box.

PROS:
+ Amazing weight and size, realistic appearance
+ Brisk hammer action and chamber revolution, realistic sounding
+ Cartridges are realistic in appearance and fun to reload
+ Revolver "bounces" the cartridges out of the chamber when opened quick enough, but still able to open it slowly enough that they won't (should you want to keep the cartridges in the gun)

CONS:
- Weak paint. A few corners are already wearing after one day of use in a holster. The furthest-peaked points of the revolver's levers and actions were already slightly worn out of box.
- Cheap handle. The plastic is realistically-colored but is slightly reflective which really gives off it's plastic quality at a glance. They shift ever-so-slightly when being held/manipulated, but far better than some gas guns I've used to be fair.
- The aforementioned "bouncing" of the cartridges seems to be faulty on my gun, as every couple of unloadings it will bounce the entire CHAMBER out of the gun instead of just the cartridges inside of it. Unsure what causes this or how to fix it, very annoying and afraid it will damage the chamber from it being flung into the air unexpectedly. Sometimes it happens with every single opening, sometimes it doesn't happen at all. This is also to note that the chamber itself is in no way attached to the gun, of course, and comes right out with gravity (or in this case, an unexpected spring malfunction)

Overall, the gun feels a bit flawed but for it's price it's just right. The fact that my worst notes on it are the slight quirks and nothing major means it's a great piece. I just wish the handle was better quality, as I'm already trying to figure out how to replace it with a more authentic looking one.

"This is a bad revolver. It looks nice, feels nice, but the metal quality of the internals is horrible. I got my gun on feb 2nd and by 12:40 am feb 11 part of the cylinder indexing system has weathered to the point that the cylinder often does not index, making firing very unreliable. I am really dissatisfied and disappointed.

"I've used this gun for about 2 months now. It's a super nice looking gun but the grip on the handle really likes to fall of in the middle of a game. It just snaps on so you kinda have to have a piece of tape or something.
