Lonex POM Expanding Piston Head for Standard Airsoft AEG Gearboxes

"Fit my stock V3 gearbox LCT cylinder and worked just fine with good shot consistency. Like with anything LCT, it will probably last me a lifetime.

"This Lonex, SHS/Rocket, and RA are my favorites. Their o-rings are a good fit for most Cylinders I have put them in and the porting is usually good enough to create perfect seals. I'd say Lonex is right there with RA for how many different cylinders they work in. SHS/Rocket have only seen 1 or 2 that didn't seem to match the cylinder and swapping the o-ring for a different one fixed that.

The POM in each of those brands also seems to be pretty much equal and I haven't had any break. Definitely prefer POM over Al in my builds of 300fps - 450fps.

"This is now my go to piston head for all my builds. From 18:1 all the way down to DSG builds, these can handle the beating. One of my mild speed DSG setups pushes out 40rps on the dot and I have had no issues with compression or durability. Lightweight and polycarb is the way to go. Grab 1 and try it!

"I'm not sure what Matthew P. was doing wrong but I have had zero issues with this head. I assembled and disassembled my piston assembly several times while working on my tuning and adjusting things and I haven't noticed any wear, even on the screw head. The build is good, I got flawless compression using this and an Angel Customs steel cylinder and Lonex cylinder head. Great quality, solid piece, just be sure to use threadlock when putting this together with the piston.

"This piston head gave me great compression bit the screw is very weak and stripped, I went through 3 replacement screws. I do not recommend this in high stress builds such as DSGs and this would be a strictly SSG build only piston head.

"This just broke in my KWA Rm4, I will tell you this... IT IS MOST DEFINATELY NOT ALUMINUM!!!! Maybe the threads are and the bearing but the rest is cracked and flexes and feels like plastic!!!!
