"Bought this for my AW Custom Hi Capa drum mag and installed it with a little bit of Teflon tape around the threads. I have to say that this hpa tap is solid and reliable after a couple hundred test shots. Can't wait to bring this bad boy to the field.

"Awesome product, easy to install and no leaks. Installed it on my M9 (WE) chrome and it functions very well. Worth the wait (6 days)!!! Wil purchase more to convert my Glock Gen 3 and scar.

"I don't know why people are talking bad about this valve it's easy to install, and no leaks,
Probably people just over screw it to their valve and what I did it to are my hi-capa and Glock mags

"I run these on my KJW KC-02 and my KJW M700 magazine and they work perfectly fine. They're easy to install, just remove the gas fill valve, put some teflon tape the HPA valve and screw it in. Much easier than drilling and tapping a new hole in your magazine.

"I liked this product very much but the one problem I had was that it leaked. Just put some oil in the mag and lube in the gun. When I tightened it, it snapped I bought another 3 and they worked fine in my g18 mags with the extanded mags

"These guys work great. Screwed in and bam all the benefits of hpa! No mag cool down. Being able to fast cycle through a whole mag. Adjustable fps. These guys make your gas gun come to life. I love these for pistols!

"I bought 4 of these and currently use them in my Hi capa 5.1. They work amazingly. And if you are having trouble with them leaking make sure u have an o-ring on them and that they are lined with some kind of paintball grease or airsoft gun grease. It helps to keep it sealed. I have had them for about a month and they work like a charm

"Good product, exactly as described. Regarding the two negitive reviews, I'm not sure why this product not working in a KWA mag is a bad thing. I mean, it would be nice for all manufacturers to standardize, but they did not and this product is clearly labeled for use on WE MAGAZINES ONLY. As for the user who reported leaks, this may be due to the nature of the seal. This is an o-ring seal, you will need to transfer the oring from your green gas fill valve to this product else you will have leaks. Cranking down on it will not help, and may actually damage something. Just over finger tight (with the oring in place) is quite sufficent.

"Well I have used these on we g series pistol mags. I've done standard 25rnd mags and extended mags and never had a problem. Use Teflon tape on the threads and make sure the gas block seal is screwed down snug. I run the mags through we g23c and a we g35 t4 pistols. No problems.

"The valve works great on my echo 1 timberwolf. Only complaint is now i can see how crappy the hop up is on the timberwolf. Didnt strip on me. Just finger tighten most of way the, then small crescent wrench to finish... boom. Took about 5 minutes tops to change out.

"Only issue I have is the valve does not have stop for the air in the mag so you loose air when switching the line to other mags.

"So I've had two experiences with this darn thing. I own a KWA KMP9 that I bought a CQB Russian HPA tap for (the KWA version). Threaded beautifully and easily, had all my mags done in five minutes. Some of the taps, every now and again, will unscrew a little due to my line being stiff, but I just re-tighten them and it's all good. If it was just for that gun these would get a five out of five star rating. Then...I also own a WE-Tech G39, a discontinued and unpopular model of gun that I am in love with. So, like my KMP9, I bought these WE-Tech CQB Russian HPA taps, six to be exact. Out of those six I broke/stripped four and in turn ruined the threading on the magazine for the gun. The issue I had with my G39 was that the threads seemed to either be off, or just extremely tight and I just pushed too hard. Again, six out of four, so I did successfully get two mags tapped. They were tight to screw in but they don't leak, and they preform beautifully. But it makes me wary to buy more (even though I need at least two more for skirmishes) because I now need to buy two new mags, and two new taps. (I cannot use green-gas reliably where I live) Figuring my experience with these the first time, I'm honestly afraid to buy more due to me literally ruining $196 worth of items this go around...about ten minutes of time. Maybe I'll take it into my local shop and have them install it just to make sure I don't mess up, but that's even more money. I guess the point of my review is to say, I honestly do not know if it was the taps or me, but I've had one beautiful experience with these, and one horrible. Look up your gun, go to your local store, do WHATEVER you can to make sure you know that your gun can actually be tapped easily! On a note, these aren't made with very strong metal, if you do tighten or bend it too much it will snap, leaving the threaded end stuck in the mag. They're strong enough to withstand game play, but if you have an experience like me with the installation be very careful; they also strip really easily. I will end up buying more mags and taps and hopefully they actually work well this time...

"This valve is good for what it is, but it has several disadvantages. If you want to go HPA with your GBBP/R, invest in a 1/8 NPT drill bit and tap set and use Foster 22-2 fittings. It will be much cheaper in the long run.

Advantages:
No tools required

Disadvantages:
Narrow range of compatibility based on magazine geometry
Fragile
Low flow rate
