"Extremely thick compared to any silicon grease I’ve ever seen but effective in it’s job, just a hassle to use compared to thinner products. I’ve had this pair for a long while and it’s kept my entire collection going and continues to today. I guess because it’s thicker you can use less of it but keep in mind for routine work this stuff is a bit much and may take more time than a thinner product.

"Very good silicone set. The tubs are rounded on the inside so you get a little less than it appears. They are both thicker than other silicones, however this can be used as an advantage if you are smart. Take a little and spread it out and will create an appropriate thin layer, allowing you to use very little silicone on your projects. I have ao much left I've been on the same tub for countless AEG repairs and even home projects

"Excellent product. The silicone grease is real thick which helps seal your own rings very well. Creates a very good seal for the piston head the cylinder head and the air seal nozzle. The ptfe grease is exceptionally good for the gears.

"This grease set is good but it has some fall backs.

Firstly, the tubs aren't as big on the inside as they look, the rounded inside helps you get grease but from the beginning you get less than you thought you would.

Secondly, the silicone grease is really thick, this means that it is not reducing friction as much as it could, if at all. The thickness does make it easier to get perfect air seals though.

Thirdly, the Teflon grease is also thick, it does a better job protecting the gears from corrosion and wear than it does reducing friction.

The set is a good option if you do not want to go out to your local hardware store and look for similar lubricants, such as o-ring grease silicone which is a good thickness and regular Teflon lubricant.
