" It is a great upgrade especially if combined with Dynamic Precision Aluminum Speed Bolt Carrier as I have both of them in my KWA H&K MP7A1. Since the aluminum bolt carrier cycles/travels much faster with higher rate of fire, this steel recoil spring guide rod set is a necessary upgrade to withstand plus last longer from the high speed.
" Great addition if you want to make a durability upgrade. Very simple to replace, Just remove the two back body pins and slide out the internals. You will see the spring guide underneath the charging handle assembly. Just pull it off and replace with the new one.
" Good rod and spring, but I would advise taking out the bearing because it raises the bottom-out point of the bolt above the sorbo pad, putting a lot of stress on the top pin. You'll have less recoil absorption and could crack the rear of the MP7. The bearing isn't making much of a difference anyway, just keep the rod lubed.
