EMG Seekins Precision Licensed AR-15 SP223 Advanced Airsoft M4 AEG Rifle w/ G2 Gearbox (Color: Black / M-LOK)

"I got this gun back a few weeks ago, and right out the box it was AMAZING. It fires hard and fast, its trigger response is snappy and crisp, and it fed very well...the first week or so. Recently I have been having major problems with the mag, which gets stuck several times and bad enough to make me have to disassemble it to unjam. But this is purely the mag, and so I have been improving it with some sandpaper and silicone oil. Still inconsistent but its whatever. The gun itself is an absolute steal but the mags left alot to be desired

"The gun looks super nice and has a perfect weight to it. The programmable mosfet that does 3 or 5 round burst is super nice. The trigger pull is very short and responsive. I got this gun in a BOA and I am very happy with it. The only thing that is messed up when I got it is the dust guard does not like to stay shut. I think I can use my Dremel and make it work fine. Overall a 5/5. This thing is very accurate with good range out of the box. Throw in a new inner barrel and bucking and this thing will be ready for your mid - semi long engagements

"Let's just start with its a G&G. This brand was my first and although I've owned several other brands(KWA, Krytac, EMG ect.) I still find myself coming back. And with this particular model AEG had got to be my favorite thus far! The range is amazing. Shoots lasers like some of the HIGH dollar AEGs. The G2 gearbox is an absolute beast! Ive had this one for about a year now, have played in various weather conditions and not a single issue. Aside from the inner barrel(prometheus 6.01mm and maple leaf 70° bucking) and a Perun G&G drop in replacement mosfet this thing is stock. It handles my Titan 11.1 with ease. The ROF is extremely satisfying and won't let you done when you need to send a few extra bbs in somebody's direction. The overall build quality rivals a few of the custom built AEG I own, it is most definitely solid with almost no rattle aside from the slight mag wobble. I'd give this a solid 10/10 overall rating.

"Fantastic gun! Not much more to say about it.

"The EMG Seekins sp223 was my first airsoft gun, and this thing is truly a beast. I was lucky to get it on sale for $309, but it’s definitely worth the normal asking price. Out the box it shoots about 370 FPS with .20 bbs, and about 22 RPS. With an 11.1 this thing is a beast. One issue I had was finding mags that will actually sit in the gun without falling out. There’s only one brand that fits by default, but I quickly changed the mag release to make it compatible with every type of mag. For a stock gun I’d rate it a 9.5/10.

After about 3 months of owning the gun I did a complete build. 6.01 tight bore barrel, upgraded hop-up, bucking, outer barrel, and recently I converted the gun to HPA. The gun is very tricky to work on. A lot of proprietary parts so I’d recommend taking it to a tech shop. Prior to converting to HPA the mosfet did burn out for no reason. I believe it was due to the upgraded hop-ups internal tracer unit, but I could never fully figure it out. After all the upgrades this thing is literally unstoppable. You can use it for any role sniper, DMR, outdoor, and indoor. As of right now it’s shooting about 400FPS with .32 bbs, and about 50RPS. It’s also laser accurate. I know HPA isn’t within everyone’s budget, but I just wanted to make it clear that this gun has endless possibilities.

I would definitely recommend purchasing this is you’re on the fence about it. It destroys most fully built guns from its stock configuration.

"In October, I was given this EMG Seekins for my 40th birthday as my first AEG...first airsoft anything...ever.

What a way to introduce me into the world of airsoft!!

Having only shot a couple of AEG M4s prior to owning my EMG Seekins, here is my assessment:

PROS:
G2 Gearbox is ‘crispy’.
Has the ability to reach out and touch someone
Solidly built…this thing is a BEAST
FPS around 375+, using .20g BBs
Superb craftsmanship

CONS:
This thing is a BEAST…coming in at about 9.9lbs
G2 proprietary magazines are only 90rnd unless you want pink (to use other magazines you have to essentially ‘trick’ the gun into accepting the magazine)
Hop up seems to be off…dialed all the way down, still shooting high (mentioned in other reviews…may try heavier BBs)

End of the day…I love this EMG Seekins. It is an absolutely fantastic gun. If you’re looking for the best…you’ve found it. Everyone should have this in their airsoft arsenal.

"Awesome gun!! Strait out of the box it is amazing!! Would recommend and would buy again I’ve had it for a mount and it is still working awesome. The one thing is it says it fits with other mags then what it comes with don’t get them!!! Stay with the regular mag they are a bit pricy but feed better and are not loose.

"This gun is amazing. I got it out of an open box deal so I got it cheaper but it is still worth the price. It shoots very straight and with a Lipo battery the rate of fire is about 20 rps. This is better than a krytac. If you are thinking about it just get it.

"Great first rifle for someone. I am not easy on my gear, and i play in a very aggressive style. With that said, this rifle has been great. The G2 gearbox so far is living up to its described performance and reliability. It doesnt like cheap magazines ive found but works very well with the G2 mid cap that it ships with. They are fairly pricey but what can you do. I recommend for anyone on a budget that wants features and performance of custom builds, but with "Glock like" reliability. My friends umbrella armory krytac has been far less reliable for example. dont get me wrong though when its working its simply amazing. I play with 2 point sling and plan to shorten barrel eventually, just to keep better profile when moving with pistol drawn. Great gun, long live the G2 gearbox!

"Great gun, very solid feel, rather poor stock design for anything more than a smaller battery. However, I was able to find out a way to cram a certain design 11.1 lipo in it, and it fired like a minigun!

"i own this gun myself and i have no complaints. never jams, shoots fast. i empty high cap mags in no time. Anyone who has been shot by my gun was either bruised or bleeding (: Im not to sure on range sorry but no one will dare come near you. best aeg out of the ten I own

"Great gun. First of all, the gun is full metal, external and internal parts including the metal gearbox. Not your Airsoft full metal, but nice full metal that will make a systema look like crap. Second, the FPS and accuracy are amazing straight out of the box. I had it chrono'd a few weeks ago, and it was shooting between 380-400 fps. I have had no problem with it but full enjoyment of a nice piece of equipment. If you are looking for something that you can be proud to own, I recommend this EMG Seekins Precision rifle!
