"These mags are awesome! I have several, never had an issue!

"They work exceptionally. The flat baseplate makes it so they can be refilled with green gas easier than the bumper based ones.
Works in a WE 1911 CQB Master single-stack.
They hold up a long time and havent let me down once yet.

"Let me start by saying I haven't gone airsofting in over four years. Today I went to my storage unit where I have been keeping my airsoft gear since I am getting back into now that my kids are getting older and don't need both their mother and I around most of the time.

When I pulled out my WE Tech 1911, I'm not sure why, but I had the urge to pull the trigger again. And I fired, fully cycling the slide. Keep in mind this gun and magazine have been in storage for four years. Let me say that again, it has been in storage for FOUR YEARS!!! I was amazed. I filled the mag with bbs and it fired every single one of them. All 15. With no lose in cycle speed. Now this is the only side arm I have ever used for airsoft, but how many people can say they storaed a magazine with gas in it and it fired four years later? I even checked the other three mags I had and all had gas in them.

If I could give this magazine more than a five star rating, I would. I would also recommend this magazine to anyone running a compatable single stack M1911.

The only issue I have ever had is the bb follower can brake if you release it from the bottom of the mag with no bbs loaded, or shoot it empty and supper chill it from the gas release. Not that big of an issue since evike sells the part for $5, WE Replacement part #78.

All in all, great little magazine for one of the most widely used airsoft side arms.

"I didn't buy this mag it came with the WE 1911 (fave ivory grips). Anyways it is a good mag and it only ran out of gas once, and that's when I didn't refill it after a game. Usually I run out of bbs before I run out of gas. I will mention that I live in a humid place and the temp isn't crazy high or low. Overall would recommend.

"Had 2 or three of these for my WE Tech MEU 1911. All the springs broke when I was loading them on my old ones. Alright mag but be careful when loading them.

"Nice Mag but will not work in Double Bell M1911

"Just received this magazine today and after the first use the follower( the plastic bit on top of the spring) broke in three seperate pieces. Really no other problems but would recommend getting a replacement if you purchase it
by Chase G. on 05/29/2015
"The followers are trash, and will bust into a million pieces if it slips from the indention and slams into the top. They are 4$ to replace, and it's not hard to do so. But it's a VERY common problem.

However, the magazine will go through 2 magazines on a warm day with a 5 second fill, and they feed great.

"Wow on the follower breaking. Watch it on the loading. I think I better buy 2 of them. Pistol works fine, like the realism. I own a real 1911, and honest, it is hard to tell one from the other without knowing.

"The mag works well if you don't break it after it slams the follower up. It only holds gas for about 1.5 mags. A decent buy, but be careful reloading as it will break after a couple of slips from the bottom tab.

"Full metal EXCEPT for the tip used to feed the bbs into the gun, after no in-gun use, the spring broke a piece of the tip right off. Have had no other problems but that first one is big.

"Please Note: I didn't buy a magazine, but since this is the same magazine the WE M1911 comes with this review may or may not be helpful.

Overall the magazine works but doesn't work. After lubing the O-rings, letting the gas sit in the mag, and even warming it up on my pocket the gun sometimes doesn't even fire the full magazine before it is out of gas. Other times it fires the full magazine without a problem and there is still has left over for another half a mag. I don't know if it's a leak (which I doubt) but I have no idea what the problem is. This magazine works, has its flaws, but gets the job done.

Pros:
Cheap
Gets the job done

Cons:
Magazine full of gas one try, then the next try it's empty

"I think I just got a bad one but when it arrived it already had a leak. when I tried so use it I could only get about 3-10 shots before it ran out of gas. and to top all of that it catches the air nozzle and restricts the slide from going all the way back, which makes it so it won't load a bb. oh, and the the bb follower broke after 2nd use. btw I was using a WE-Tech M45a. I think its probably a good magazine, I just got a REALLY bad one. might have to get another because Evike won't restock the M45A1 magazines :(

"I like the WE-Tech 1911, but not it's mags. I got these with my shipment, and when I was trying it out I broke two in the first 15 minutes. I'm getting a replacement, I think, from Evike, and I hope they'll last longer than the first.

"These magazines (in my opinion) are garbage.
Firstly, the part of the mag that you pull down to put bullets in, is plastic. Of the 3 mags that I bought, all 3 broke. This made it difficult to load BBs in the magazine.
Second, the mag is made of some sort of cheap metal, making it break easily. the bottom of the mag that holds the spring in, broke off completely and the spring shot out of the mag. This means I can no longer load BBs into the mag, rendering it useless.
Thirdly, it is not very gas efficient. Now, this could be the gun, but all 3 that I bought weren't able to shoot off all of the BBs before running out of gas.

So, in my opinion, these mags are not a very good buy. I would look for others that fit this 1911 variant.
