Matrix Aluminum AK74 Railed Gas Tube

"Worked perfectly in my LCT RPK

"Bought this for what I thought was an LCT AK (I think it is actually a CYMA model but that doesn't really matter). When I first bought it I realized that I bought the wrong size, regardless, mine came with all the pieces shown: the rail itself, two clamp-like ring things, four hex screws, and the allen key that fits perfectly inside said screws. It takes a bit of finagling to make sure its symmetrical and sitting straight as the rail is normal sized picatinny rails, but it is just a tad too small for my gun's body, either way, it does exactly what it is supposed to do, and if I don't want to use it for sights, I can put it on the bottom and use it for underbarrel attachments like grips and whatnot.

The only issue I had any time buying this item is that I wasn't sure which length rail was the right one but aside from that it works great.

"Works fine on CYMA AK AEGs, specifically the VFC types. Not sure if it will work on the RPK. Worked on AK-74M, AK-74, and AK-105 types. Not meant for AKS-74U.

This can work on a JG AMD-65 only if you cut off enough of the front. The JG AMD-65 has a shorter gas tube than other AKs.

"A great piece for any AK setup. However, if you have a Classic Army SLR variant AK like my SLR-105, you will need modification to the part to get it on. As a tech, I had to take metal off the back of this part behind the last rail slot. It fit perfectly afterwards. If you aren't a tech or knowledgable about how to do metal work, I suggest you turn your gun and parts over to a seasoned technician like the guys at Evike or a local tech if you have one. I do my stuff in house because I am a player-technician. Again, if you have a CA gun, modification is required. Once everything is done properly, it's a very good part to have. The rail height allows for perfect cheek weld on the stock with perfect sight alignment. For you Player-Techs out there, this part is perfect for you. Players, if you have a tech lined up, this part is for you too.

"This is a decent rail, but don't expect it to drop in for any Cyma AK. I purchased this for my CM048 AK74 and it doesn't not fit right out of the box. I had to modify my lower handguard to accommodate the mounting brackets. Afterwards it fit fine. I'm giving it three stars because you shouldn't need to modify parts to fit when they're for the same model and from the same manufacturer. If you don't have the tools to make it fit this can potentially be a waste of time and money.
