Metal Dual Magazine Clamp for MP5 UZI Series Magazine Clips

8 Customer Reviews

"Simple dual magazine clamp for MP5 and UZI series magazines. Solid construction with no visible manufacturing errors or rough surfaces. Held two metal MP5 magazines without issue. A great buy, and excellent accessory for those running MP5 builds.

"These clamps are great. I use them with 2 of my JG Hi-Caps. It needs a little modification to use them though. There are these little rubber pads inside of the clamps that take up space and makes it hard to slide the second mag into the clamp. I had to remove two from one side so that my JG mags would fit. I probably had this problem because ICS mags are smaller but once i got rid of the pads, both mags slid in just fine and when i lock the clamp there's no wobble.

Pros:
Metal
Sturdy
Cheap

Cons:
Tight fit because of rubber pads (for JG mags. ICS mags might not have a problem since this clamp is most likely made to ICS dimensions. Easy to fix)

Completely worth it

"could you hook up 2 of these so you could have 3 mags?

Webmaster: Technically, yes you can. You can hook up as many as you want with as many as you want. But the magazine catch of an MP5 might not be able to support all that weight. = )

"does this work with the UMP mags? because i dont know if i should get this if it doesnt fit in the ump mag

"First, the construction feels solid, metal feels strong and I'm not worried about it breaking. The major issue is that it does not hold the magazines very well. With both mags inserted, it doesn't take much to have one slide up or down. If you were running one mag would definitely fall off. This is easily fixed by putting electric tape on the mags where the rubber clamps grip the mag. After the tape, it is fairly solid.
Also if anyone is curious, these definitely DO fit the straight MP5 mags

"Good metal sturdy construction. Unfortunately as I was switching mags the rubber pads that keep the mags in place fell out, after a single use. I didn't notice when it happened but after that mags would not hold. Manufacturer definitely went cheap with whatever glue holds the rubber in place. After fixing this clamp will still be excellent otherwise

"This is out of spec for real MP5 magazines. This fact is not clearly indicated in the product description
