Tokyo Marui AK Storm Next Generation Recoil Shock System AEG Rifle

"I had bought this while also hearing a lot of bad things about EBBs and anything that had to due with recoil simulation that wasn't gas. Not to mention the fact that this is a Tokyo Marui and their NGRS systems are proprietary. I can confidently say that this is one of the best AEG purchases I have made. If you are hesitating on buying this, I wouldn't. Tokyo Marui continues to put out quality products time and time again, and this is another product of theirs to prove that statement.

Pros:
~Decent weight. It isn't heavy enough to be cumbersome. It is just right and I personally have not had any issues fielding this for hours. A sling could be added though if you aren't looking to hold it the whole time
~Recoil Shock: This is one of the best feeling systems out there compared to other EBBs where the window to reach your hop-up just reciprocates and makes noise.
~Feeding System: The feeding system is realistic in the sense that it will stop shooting when there are no more bb's to feed. You have to prime the charging handle when you load up a new mag so it is able to feed and fire. realism/simulation
~M-Lok Rail attachments and M-Lok Handguard covers are included.

Cons:
~I personally wished that you would be able to attach a dovetail mount to this so i can attached optics above the upper receiver but they are not compatible due to the flared magwell. I have yet to try switching the upper receiver cover with one with rails.
~Proprietary magazines: You can only use the magazines built for this AEG. Any other magazine will not work.
~Battery Space: The battery is stored in the handguard and it is quite small. I run a 7.4 lipo battery small enough to fit in it.
~FPS. It is considered quite low for some open fields but if you were to switch out the spring with a better one, there will be no issues getting over 370. But again, all fields are different and this comes perfect for CQB fields.

Overall, the cons are only cons because of how much dexterity some other AKs have (battery in upper receiver, universal mags, etc).
This is such a good purchase and I promise you will not be disappointed.

"Wow, just wow. I've had several AEGs ranging from M4s, Ak's, and SMG's; this is possibly one of the best AEGs I've ever had my hands on. The absolute sheer accuracy from this AK is legit from another world. Have you ever heard of the phrase "TM magic"? This is the definition of it.
Shots are insanely accurate despite shooting low FPS but that does not drag it down. The handguard is made of plastic but it's very durable and has not failed me. Battery space on this is pretty small but all you need is a small 7.4-lipo battery and you will be all set. Now, unfortunately, this is wired to Tamiya but you can easily do a Dean mod to take Dean's battery. The magazine it comes with is very high quality but I suggest you don't drop them. Another alternative for mags is the CYMA ak74 mags and use the mag adapter that the AK storm comes with and you would be set. If you are looking for a gun that will never fail you, then the Tokyo Marui Ak Storm is the one for you!
