"I bought this gun a while ago and so far it has preformed very well. I have not had any major troubles with it yet, and I have fired a ton of rounds through it at this point. It has a very nice weight and a nice, very tiny little kick when you fire. It feels very sturdy and has a nice sound to it, but the one trouble I have had is feeding some times. This is probably due to bad BBs, but some times they will get stuck in the magazine but due to how fast its firing you can not tell that nothing is firing out of it. It sometimes wastes a bit of gas but is not too big of a deal if you notice it soon enough.

"This pistol is great to have. It sounds amazing, it shoots very accurate, and is really gas efficient. The gun itself feels really solid with a magazine in, and it shoots solid as well. You can use the iron sights to engage a target and it will hit. Definitely one of my favorite guns of all time.

For your info…

The orange tip acts as a stabilizer for the inner barrels. So if you plan to, ya know, get rid of it, you will need to replace the outer barrel so that the inner barrel has something to reside in. Once the orange tip is removed, the inner barrel will slightly angle to the left or right. Outer barrels cost about $40 and come threaded so it’s just an upgrade instead of a replacement

"Super impressed with this pistol so far. Got it to replace a brand new yet faulty EMG/TTI Combat Master. So glad I did. This is by far the snappiest GBB I have fired to date. Wicked fast cycle rate, decent recoil and fantastic accuracy make this a no brainer. According to my girlfriend this, "Shoots more like a real gun than any other airsoft gun I have seen."

Super efficient as well. Able to get a couple mags out of one gas fill which is unheard of coming from mostly WE Tech guns. If you get the chance to ever test one, do it and you won't be disappointed. One of the best out of box GBB pistols you can get on the market hands down.

"Great pistol. I m happy that bought gen 5 version. More aggressive shootings, like it have a more power than in gen 4. Fits in the arm comfortable and grip has magwell. Looks beautiful, very good build. Love it! Reccomend.

The Gen. 5 I think, is by far the best version of G17 and here why. For starters, the Gen. 5 has a slide release on both side making it easier for left-handed shooters such as myself to operate the gun comfortably. So I would definitely recommend the Gen. 5 to anyone looking to purchase an airsoft Glock.

"Knowing that this is made from VFC, you know that they always deliver their guns with top quality and realistic replicas. By far one of the best sounding guns just to play around with. However, if you've own VFC guns, you know that they are also known for poor quality control and having issues with reliability and eventually something will break within a month.

The gun itself is amazing along with outstanding gas efficiency! Racking the slide and being able to do "press checks" sounds astounding to my ears. And that recoil impulse. IT KICKS HARD! And with the gas efficiency, I was able to get at least 3 mags in one gas fill. I won't get into detail with the differences with Gen 4 and the Gen 5, but the only thing is know that they are not interchangeable with each other as their blowback housing unit are different. Overall, really good so far right?

Now with the quality control. With the Glock that I got, I noticed that it performed poorly whenever it's loaded with BB's. The recoil impulse would be weaker and it wouldn't load the next BB into the chamber, making it perform optimally only in hot temperatures. However, whenever you're dry firing the gun, the recoil would present. I looked into threads that would have these kinds of issue and so far its a common thing. FORTUNATELY, there is a fix for this issue along with the added benefit having adjustable fps. To fix it, replace the rocket valve with the RA-TECH NPAS for the WE/TM GBBR and it will fix all your problems. And there you have it! Now having to fix the issue, it truly holds it's title of the being one of the best side arms compared to HI-CAPA's.

TLDR

Pros:
- Hard recoil
- Amazing gas efficiency, getting 3 mags in 1 fill
- Awesome looking gun for Glock fans
- Racking the slide sounds amazing

Cons:
- Poor quality control
- Had to replace the loading and low recoil impulse due to the poorly made rocket valve.
- Expensive for a sidearm along with extra mags (because of Glock trades of course)

"Great pistol! I ran mags and mags through this gun. The only down side is I live in the unforgiving Georgia heat so the green gas acts up for me but that isn’t a real problem. The only complaint I have is no threaded barrel.

Pros: accurate, durable, high mag capacity.

Cons: No threaded barrel, mag wobbles slightly when shaking weapon hard.
