CYMA Platinum SR-47 MK47 QBS Airsoft AEG Rifle (Model: 10" M-LOK / Waffle Magazine)

"Probably one of the best rifles I've ever shot or owned. Rounds per second is true to the description, and even on a 7.4 lipo it feels like I'm running a 11.1v, its amazing. The accuracy is also amazing, I was able to hit people from across the field easily, was near laser like. Build quality is great, and its all very solid, even the stock, which I've noticed tends to be wobbly on a lot of guns. The only cons I can think of are that it is quite heavy(though I am mainly used to polymer airsoft guns), the flashhider is very difficult to remove(luckily the orange tip is super easy to remove, as it is just a small plastic ring around a nice metal flashhider), and it has a dial hop up instead of a rotary(which isnt really a big deal, but rotary hop ups are easier to disassemble, and I like to change out stuff)

Overall, Cyma platinum line guns are one of the best guns on the market in my opinion, beating out most other high budget brands, but at a much lower price

"This is gun is a beast, shoots 370fps on .2s and has an incredibly fast fire rate. My only issue is some mags are a bit wobbly but the waffle mags Cyma sells fit fantastic. Overall great purchase!

"This gun is worth the price imo. Got the 10 inch version.

Pros:
Trigger response with a 11.1v is just oh so good.
QBS is very useful and includes ball bearings on the spring guide.
Mags are cheap, at 11 bucks a pop.
Rate of fire is great out of the box, you really dont need a 11.1. A 9.6 will work great.
Deans.
Everything is full metal except the pistol grip and stock.
Plenty of battery space.
Orange tip is very easy to take off, i flicked it off with a screw driver.
Mine came shimmed well and had a good aoe.
What seems to be a good stock motor.
Good air seal.
Working dust cover.

Cons:
Stock has a little wobble as well as my mags.
The screws on the base plate of the pistol grip gave out mid full auto and shredded the wires.
The hop up is proprietary and is non interchangeable , however the bucking may be i have yet to check.
The cylinder head wouldn't fit a after market air nozzle.
Oh boy are the internals somethings else, they put this awful blue glue like oil everywhere. I even lost shims in it.
The actual gearbox is incredibly hard to separate i had to use all my manly might to separate them the first time. After doing so my selector switch lets clicky.
And if you plan on throwing a titan or aster in the gun you will need to sand down a spot they use to hold a screw that holds in the trigger contacts. (Its like a hollow pillar in the middle of the trigger contacts.)
The accuracy leaves much to be desired, get a better barrel and maybe a bucking and you will be shooting a laser.
Mine double fed after i worked on it but thats more than likely my fault.
Anti reversal latch has a odd spring that goes into the trigger contact wire grooves.
The full metal black flash hider it comes with attached is incredibly hard to take off.

And thats all folks, this is a amazing first gun and is worth it. And the m4 version as well. Catch it on sale as it often does and you can get a mean machine for sub 250.

"It has an insanely fast fire rate and the trigger is super crisp the only problem is the stock is a bit wobbly but the buffer tube is really solid. A 3 sell 11.1 lipo is what I would recommend and the gun feels amazing.

"For 200$ this was a complete steal.
Full metal, the only parts that arent metal are the stock.
Mags click in with no wobble, and are very sturdy. (I got the waffle mags)
The gun itself has some weight too it, but that's what I wanted so thats another plus.
The stock is retractable, and it retracts a lot more than I thought, great for changing to CQB.

For my first gun, this is amazing. Long lasting build quality and internals, and this gun could last you forever if you take care of it right.

"So for this particular gun I have opened it up and found something I’ve never seen. The qcbs is something else making it easy for springs to come in and out.the quality of the gearbox is decent the bearings is a nice touch along with the metal cylinder head and piston however I believe they could’ve made it better is a oring within the nozzle rather than a plastic one.the gears however are not regular 18:1 they are oem ssged gears (short stroked gears) by 3 teeth from standard ones this is also a reason for the high rps.the motor shaft collar is also a very good touch providing a stable mesh between the pinon and bevel gear.Along with the other things the motor comes with a neo motors which is very good for what is 16-18 tpa estimated.mags for this gun are a bit picky I chose the matrix blue box mags the fit fine with a ak74 style mag rather than a 47 style from the box overall I give it a 8/10 imo

"This is the 4th cyma plat gun ive had, ive never been dissapointed with the performance. this guns really shows the value cyma puts into there guns, im getting 30 rps with a 11.1v lipo, the gun is super sturdy and has almost no play (theres a very little amount of play in the buffer tube) i love how this gun works and feels, only gripes are the hopup unit and motor. the hopup unit is not a rotary and is a dial, so it will come unadjusted after some shots (not a huge deal as you can get the krytac one and fix this issue) the only other problem is the motor, it doesnt seem to be great and heats up alot when using an 11.1v. but overall for 270$ (when it was on sale) this gun is amazing

"Long story short, this gun has a great rps with an 11.1. Lot of stock wobble.

Mags are 11 a piece for mid caps so thats a plus.

Mine came shimmed perfectly and almost dsg ready... almost.

"It's my first AEG. Played several games over the course of 6 hours (in hot and humid south Florida) without any break in previously. The stock magazine fed well enough but I didn't like the bulk of it. Ordered 4 CYMA AR-47 Magpul style magazines (200rd mid cap) which also worked perfectly with no break in.

My gun actually came with a mini Dean's type battery connector, not the Small Tamiya that the spec sheet stated. I couldn't get a LiPo battery in time for the game so I started with a 9.4v NiMH and stock spring (equal to a 110 or 115 I believe) which gave me ~20 rounds per second at 350-370 feet per second using .20 gram BBs. Installed a 120 spring using the quick change method, which also worked very well (careful that the end cap doesn't launch into your face!), and got the FPS to hover right at 395 pretty consistently with .20s. This setup got me shooting with relative accuracy at 100-125 feet using very minimal hop, which is fine at the particular field I played at. I do, however, plan on finding a suitable replacement bucking and heavier BBs to give it more accuracy at longer range.

I had 2 issues during the day, but both were remedied easily. The first was the hole on the front handguard near the receiver that appears to be a sling QD point. I found that the hole was just slightly too large to hold a QD swivel tightly, so I simply attached a new one on the MLOK point right next to it. The second was the motor being just a touch too far down from the factory, which was fixed by tightening the adjustment screw on the bottom of the pistol grip by about 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn. All was good for the rest of the day, including 2 200 round full auto mag dumps back to back. I did not use the iron sights that came with it as I mounted a 1-4x scope off the bat.

Using AK mags is pretty cool, but nothing beats the speed of an M4 style mag change. I bought it just to have something a little different, anyway. The AK mag change takes some getting used to but with practice can be done almost as quickly. The orange tip is easily removed with a pair of needle nose pliers. The front hand guard doesn't chew up bare hands, the Magpul style pistol grip and CRANE stock are comfortable. The stock does have a slight wobble, but that's standard fare for most AR (buffer tube) style stocks. Safety/selector switch does not stick and moves easily. The mag release also moves easily, almost too easily, but I never had any magazines drop from the gun on accident. I'd recommend tightening the castle nut (ring that holds the buffer tube on) with a wrench just a touch past hand tight to keep the buffer tube in place if you do decide to change the spring.

Overall my only regret is paying the full $300 for it and not catching this thing on sale at $255 (where it is as of 10/20/20). I have yet to dig in to the internals but if the pictures and spec sheet are anything to go by, you're really getting your money's worth with this AEG.

I'm not disappointed, I doubt you will be either.
