"So I just got this as my second ever airsoft gun, and I love it, if you like the look of the Mk18 but don't want to pay over $400 for a good mk18 this is IT, the internals are basically the same as the prime but without the brushless motor and gate aster, also the mosfet is controlled through their app which is really nice, no more trigger programming, the build quality is awesome too, full metal and the rail is extremely good, also, in the description it says it has an ambi fire selector and mag release, in the pictures and my gun, don't have that, so they need to change that, but no biggie for me, also the hand guard is straight steel picatinny, so wear gloves, also the grip it comes with is nice, the weight and feel of the gun is great, especially for a full metal gun, from my testing (which is very basic) the gun functions great, the hop is hopping, the gun is firing perfectly, only thing on mine is that the charging handle is a bit wonky as I have to pull it twice in order for the extractor cover to open, but that's fixed easily by just keeping it open, and I rarely mess with my hop up after zeroing it, so to sum it all up, BUY IT, it's cool af, and performs great, I got mine on a lighting sale for $269 and I swear it's an absolute steal.

"Unboxing this I immediately noticed how vibrant the rail is, you can certainly tell its an airsoft replica compared to the production Daniel Defense rail. While the body is incredibly sturdy, the rail had rotational play from a likely loose barrel. Checking the torque of the rail bolts revealed that only 2-3 of them were tight while the others were all loose. There is no functional bolt catch which is a letdown. It's really weird how this is a newly released Specna with old Edge 1.0 tech however a HAL 2 ETU. It still uses original ESA not the improved Edge 2.0 ESA2. Overall a good buy for the price considering you get the new Specna ETU, even though it isn't ASTER II, but disappointing in some ways that they didn't update the other features. I have yet to test its performance but I'm expecting good things for an out of the box Specna. Just disappointed in the external build quality on the rail. I would likely take a Madbull DD RIS II over what I'm assuming is a EMG / Matrix on this Specna.
